The purpose of this study is to explain the concept of Gender and its expressions through Judith Butler"s Gender theory, and to explore the possibility of our inner queerness and solidarity. We would also like to propose a new direction of solidarity, which has evolved in digital technology, by working together with fluidity, which is being explored as an alternative to solidarity.
According to Butler, there is no natural body and we only experience the gendered body. She says that through the formulation of the gender, she establishes a model that understands gender"s identity as a process of organizing in time, and is composed on a performance basis because of expressions known as results. At this time, she argues that the materiality of sex cannot be separated from the materialization of regulatory norms. According to Butler, gender"s norm is to conduct and materialize the ideal of two sex not real, and treat only the bodies captured within the category as real.
Therefore, queerness is something that can be found in those who destroy and abscond the rules of the gender that society recognizes and uses. The non-conformers of the gender norm, those who desire to be different, are now free to express their identity in digital space today. Unlike the past, when groups were formed and vocalized, individuals can now voice their voices in public space through SNS in digital space. In addition, the accessibility of information has been increased, and it has become possible to observe the method of constructing the other party over the limit of time and space.
This is in line with the concept of fluidarity, which is emerging as an alternative to the concept of solidarity. Unlike the past, when the alliance created a collective identity to promote homogeneity of solidarity workers, it values the public experience of individuals and refuses to delete differences. Today, it is even more active as a concept of refraining from regimental objects that are preceded by minorities. It is significant that the concept of fluidarity proposed by Yoon Kim Ji-young is also a concept that renews the problem of solidarity objects and forms a chapter of reflection. I dare guess that the regiment that will be created as a continuous and a process that is not on one side of the gender norm in the future will resemble their discussion.
