The objective of this study is to investigate the influence on the recovery according to the uptake of oxygen in Judo players after finishing total exhausted practicing and provide some materials for the game and safety exercise by verifying the recovery effect through uptaking safety erogogenic acids based on the investigation of malonedialdehyde (MDA), Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), blood lactic acid (Lactate), blood ammonia, creatine phosphokinase (CPK), and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH).
In this study, subjectives were selected by 10 players who have experienced more than six years and show no medical diseases in male elite Judo players in Y University. Then, this study presented detailed explanation and test participation agreement for the objective and method of this study. The tests applied in this study were repeated by three times in which the players uptook 21% of the oxygen in air in the first test, 30% of high density oxygen in the second test, and liquid concentrated oxygen in the third test for 15 minutes, respectively, during the recovery period after finishing maximum practicing. Then, the levels of MDA, SOD, Lactate, Ammonia, CPK, and LDH were measured through sampling blood for various periods in stabilizing, finishing exercise, recovery for 30 minutes, and recovery for 90 minutes.
The SPSS/PC 17.0 program was used to implement data processing for calculating the average (M) and standard deviation (SD) for the measurement item in each treatment. For verifying the difference in its values, an RM ANOVA test was applied. Then, the post verification of the group was performed using LSD, and the difference verification according to the recovery period was implemented using a contrast verification method. The significant level for the hypothesis verification was configured by p<.05.
Based on the mentioned process, the conclusion of this study can be summarized as follows:
1. In the case of MDA, the groups that uptook liquid concentrated oxygen and 30% of high density oxygen showed more effective results than that of the group, which uptook 21% of the oxygen in air. Then, it represented a statistically significant difference in its values (p<.05).
2. In the case of SOD, it showed no specific differences among three groups and certain significant differences in its values according to the change in the recovery period in each group (p<.05). Also, there were no differences in its interaction effects statistically according to the groups and recovery time.
3. In the case of Lactate, the groups that uptook liquid concentrated oxygen and 30% of high density oxygen represented more effective results than that of the group, which uptook 21% of the oxygen in air. Then, it represented a statistically significant difference in its values (p<.05).
4. In the case of Ammonia, the groups that uptook liquid concentrated oxygen and 30% of high density oxygen showed more effective results than that of the group, which uptook 21% of the oxygen in air. Also, it represented a significant difference in its values statistically (p<.05).
5. In the case of CPK, it showed no specific differences among three groups and certain significant differences in its values according to the change in the recovery period in each group (p<.05). Also, there were no differences in its interaction effects statistically according to the groups and recovery time.
6. In the case of LDH, it showed some significant differences in its values between groups and in each group (p<.05). Also, there were no differences in its interaction effects statistically according to the groups and recovery time.
As a result, in the oxygen uptake pattern in the recovery period after finishing the practicing of Judo players, it can be seen that the uptake of the 30% of high density oxygen and liquid concentrated oxygen represented certain positive effects in the levels of MDA, SOD, Lactate, Ammonia, CPK, and LDH. Also, it can be considered that the application of high density oxygen for the recovery period after finishing exercises was effective for removing fatigue substances and uptaking oxygen. Moreover, it is necessary to perform the quantization of uptake pattern and amount of uptake according to the type of exercise and conduct studies on the practicing strength and time in future.
