자원의 불확실성을 고려한 프로젝트 일정 문제에 관한 연구: 예약이 필요한 임대자원을 중심으로 = A Study on the Project Scheduling Problem with Uncertainty of Resources: Focusing on Rental Resources Requiring Reservation

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 프로젝트 수행에 필요한 자원 중 외부에서 예약(임대)을 통해 조달해야 하는 자원이 있는 경우, 선행일정의 변경으로 인해 발생하는 일정의 재작성 시점에 해당 자원의 가용성에 불확실성이 있는 경우를 다루었다. 이를 위해, 기간에 불확실성이 있는 SRCPSP 모델에서 발생하는 일정의 재작성 시점에, 외부에서 예약(임대)을 통해 조달해야 하는 자원의 가용성에 대한 불확실성을 확률적으로 추가한 수학적 모델을 작성하였으며, 시뮬레이션 기법을 사용하여 예약(임대)을 통해 조달해야 하는 자원을 사용하는 특정 활동의 사용 시점에 대한 분포를 구하였다. 이후 특정 활동들의 사용 시점에 대한 분포를 최초일정에 적절히 적용하여 평균적인 목적함수 값이 개선을 위한 알고리즘을 작성하였다. 모의실험 결과에 따르면, 같은 조건에서, 개선 후 최초일정을 사용한 시뮬레이션의 목적함수 값의 평균이 개선 전보다 향상되어, 본 연구에서 제시하는 모델의 유효성을 입증하였다.
본 연구는 기존의 SRCPSP 모델을 기반으로 외부 임대자원의 가용량에 대한 불확실성을 확률적 요소로 추가 고려하였다는 점에서 선행연구들과 차이가 있다. 또한, 프로젝트 재산정 시점에서 외부자원의 변화에 대한 불확실성을 일정 문제에 적용하였다는 점에 의의가 있다.

The inherent uncertainty of a project causes a difference between the project plan and execution, and efforts are needed to reduce the project loss caused by this difference. Accordingly, in research on the project scheduling problem, research on the deterministic model that finds the optimal combination of fixed elements, such as the Resource Contained Project Scheduling Problem (RCPSP), which considers resource constraints, and the Stochastic RCPSP (SRCPSP), which applies uncertainty probabilistically, are being actively studied. This study deals with the case where there are resources required for project execution that must be procured through external reservation (rental), and there is uncertainty in the availability of the corresponding resources at the time of schedule rewriting due to a change in the preceding schedule. To this end, a mathematical model was developed that probabilistically added uncertainty about the availability of resources that must be procured through external reservations (rentals) at the time of schedule rewriting that occurs in the SRCPSP model with uncertainty in the period, and the distribution of the usage points of specific activities that use resources that must be procured through reservations (rentals) was obtained using simulation techniques. Afterwards, the distribution of the usage points of specific activities was appropriately applied to the initial schedule, and an algorithm for improving the average objective function value was developed. According to the simulation results, under the same conditions, the average objective function value of the simulation using the initial schedule after improvement was improved compared to before improvement, proving the validity of the model presented in this study. This study differs from previous studies in that it additionally considered uncertainty about the availability of external rental resources as a probabilistic factor based on the existing SRCPSP model. In addition, it is significant in that the uncertainty about changes in external resources was applied to the schedule problem at the time of project reevaluation.
