<최고운전>에 나타난 최치원의 체제 저항과 인정투쟁 = Choi Chi Won's resistance and recognition struggle shown in <Choigounjeon>

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This dissertation investigates the meaning of system resistance & simultaneity of recognition struggle shown in classic novel <Choigounjeon> created in the 16th century with the materials of the life of real person, Choi Chi Won by reviewing such system. The existing studies mainly focused on resistance, the system shown by Choi Chi Won based on the birth tales of Choi Chi Won or noted the tragic conclusion where Choi Chi Won secluded in Mt. Gaya in frustration. On the contrary, this article tries to include the dual meaning of system resistance and recognition struggle in which the life of Choi Chi Won is submerged.
To this end, this dissertation analyzed the process of Choi Chi Won's system resistance in 4 times and the process in which he secluded in Mt. Gaya in frustration after returning to the country. After being deserted by father on the beach, Choi Chi Won straightforwardly resisted against the violence of paternalistic order. In the process of marrying Na Sojeo after entering the house of prime minister Na, he resisted against the solid status system. After moving to China, he fought against the test of emperor and conspiracy of Chinese ministers. In this process, Choi Chi Won overcame the given tribulation by utilizing writing skill, the Confucian knowledge instead of transcendental means. Then, after returning to Silla, Choi Chi Won disappeared by secluding in Mt. Gaya in the meaning to resist against the tyranny of King of Silla. Based on this, this dissertation investigated the meaning of recognition struggle in system resistance and the process of frustration. Afflicted by the fact that he was unilaterally deserted by father, Choi Chi Won negated the existence of father and proved the value of his existence by achieving scholar after studying with iron cane given by father.
Solving the problem presented by emperor after entering the house of prime minister Na, he succeeded in marrying Na Sojeo, although such marriage was not allowed in the then status system. After moving to China, he took government position on the basis of the help of novel and strange existences and writing skill. As emperor tried to oppress him to the end, he subdued emperor by exerting transcendence. Like this, <Choigounjeon> shows that Choi Chi Won simultaneously tried not only to resist against diverse surrounding environments of system on the basis of transcendence and writing skill, but to embody the aspect of recognition struggle to settle in the system.
