The present study was to investigate whether there is a difference in anxiety levels felt by dancers in stage performance situations and between dance majors and performance experiences by using the "Stage Performance Anxiety Scale" (SPAS: Jang & Lee, 2021). The face-to-face method and the non-face-to-face method through the Google survey were combined to collect data. The 593, excluding misfit responses out of 610 dance majors respondents, were selected by applying the Rasch rating scale model. The SPAS consisted of 15 items and three factors; External environmental factor (EEF), Internal environmental factor – Self related (IEF-SR), and – Leader related (IEF-LR). The items consisted of a four-point scale, and a high score indicated that the level of anxiety affected by the stage performance is high. Cronbach’s internal consistency (α) coefficient for 15 items was found to be .88. One factor repeated measure ANOVA was applied to test whether there is a difference between the anxiety levels by the sources (items of SPAS) of the anxiety and the anxiety levels by three factors. 3×3x3 (dance major×number of performance×anxiety factor) 3 factor mixed model MANOVA was applied to test, "Are there differences in stage performance anxiety factors depending on the dance majors and performance experiences of the dancers ?" Data were analyzed by applying SPSS/PC+’s Descriptive, Repeated measure ANOVA, and MANOVA. The results and conclusions are that first, the anxiety level of dancers occurring in stage performance varies depending on the anxiety source (item) and the anxiety factor. The anxiety sources affected by dancers are a fear of injury, a loss of emotional control, a lack of confidence in movement, and the anxiety factor affected by dancers is IEF rather than EEF. Second, dancers in stage performance are relatively affected by IEF-SR rather than EEF, regardless of the dance majors and performance experiences. Third, ballet dancers out of dance majors are most affected by the anxiety felt in stage performances. The anxiety level felt by modern dance and Korean dance majors is relatively low. Fourth, there is no difference in the anxiety level felt by dancers depending on the performance experiences in the stage performance.
