학교 독서운동과 독서교육 = The results and problems of reading campaigns in the school

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper examined the reading campaigns recently developed in the school :Reading Certification System(Comprehensive Support System for Reading Education,CSSRE), Morning Reading Movement, and Reading Discussion. The fruits of CSSRE representative of Reading Certification Program is to help the students participate in various reading activities. The results of Morning Reading Movement is that reading amount and reading time increase in an alarming way, and the atmosphere immersed in reading is excellently produced. Reading Discussion in classroom have an effect on the constructing and developing meaning through the interaction between the students,the inner growth of students, and the learning in other subjects. There are many problems to be solved in reading campaigns in the school. The first,most of reading campaigns in the school focus on the increase of quantity of reading. Secondly, students participated in reading campaigns have an difficulties in feeling the pleasure of reading because they are given too many and heavy after-reading activities. The third, reading is emphasized as a means to attain good scores in achievement test,to explore for the career to pursue, and to develop the thinking power. The fourth,most of reading campaigns in the school are carried out in extra time. The fifth, they are that is originally projected and arose in foreign countries, after that introduced and enforced into the our classroom.
