효과적인 유아 리듬학습을 위한 음악교수법에 관한 연구 : 졸탄 코다이와 칼 오르프의 음악이론을 중심으로

Rhythm is not only the most important basis in the three elements of music?Drhythm, melody and harmony?D but also an essential element in the field of art such as music, dance and literature.
In the theory of modern musical education, rhythm easily makes small children stimulate interest because rhythm is the basis in the musical education and more sensible than melody or harmony. Therefore, well-timed preschool musical education and proper teaching guidance on the basis of rhythm would be greatly effective to arise an interest in music to small children.
However, music education in korea inclines to concentrate more on singing and theoretic classes rather than on rhythm. This study puts emphasis on teachings of rhythm from early ages.

The analytic research results of rhyme education, one of the primary elements in musical education that Carl Orff and ZoltÐn KodÐly pursued, are as follows:
First, Much emphasis is put on the early education in that musical experiences are important and comprehensive enough to form individual personality, and the methods of acquiring musical sense through routine lives are presented.
Second, It has been said that the basis of the Orff's theory is rhythm, and Orff sees rhythm as the basis of all musical elements. KodÐly also emphasizes the teaching of rhythm as the first step toward the improvement of reading music aimed at solmization.
Third, "The Carl Orff-pursued rhyme learning methods" began to develop the rhyme form naturally arising from linguistic tone, into percussion musical instrument performance through physical movement and ostinato. In the past, mere physical movement-driven rhyme education was the focus on these methods, which have been referred to as the gradual learning courses ranging from 'monotonous' rhythm to 'wild' rhythm, At present, linguistic syllable and percussion musical instrument-centered rhymic education become the main stream in the music field.
In the case of KodÐly method, the overall process of the teaching of rhythm has much in common with Orff's. His specific teaching methods of 'simple writing' employing the rhythm only, and 'picture music' employing sounds also, marked the breakthrough in early musical education. The application of these methods to our education would be worth the effort.

In this regard, it makes sense to revitalize rhythmic sense that children have by nature, and promote surrounding environments good enough for children to learn their rhythmic sense, on their own. And, conducting such education requires music teachers to raise the increased qualities and the striking improvisational performance techniques and to pour considerable creative efforts.
The teaching method of Carl Orff and ZoltÐn KodÐly has gain importance in the musical education for children and more improved researches should be continued to develop a balanced musicality and creativity of children, and a well-formed preschool musical education.
