십계명(3~10계명)에 드러난 인권보호 정신 -탈출 20,8-17; 신명 5,12-24의 사회-신학적 고찰 = Human Rights Protection Sprit Revealed in the Ten Commandments(3~10 Commandments) -Study of social-theological Criticism(Ex 20,8-17; Dtn 5,12-24)

The Ten Commandments are the precepts forming the foundation of all the old testament law codes and the academic research on them is active. A lot of studies on the Ten Commandments were carried out mainly from the perspective of historical criticism but relatively, there are not many studies conducted from the perspective of literary criticism.
Not just examining the findings of historical criticism research related to the Ten Commandments, this study attempted to examine the meaning of each Commandment through the historical criticism analysis.
While studying the Commandments especially belonging to the category of social norms(3~10 Commandments) in terms of society-theology, this study attempted to find ‘the weak’s human rights protection spirit’ implied in these Commandments.
For this purpose, this study concentrated on the following questions: Specifically whom are 3~10 Commandments targeting and what is the main purpose of enactment?
The social norms(3~10 Commandments) are given to Israeli free men with legal civil rights mainly in the Israel community, especially to adult men and can be expanded and applied to all Christians. The purpose of the enactment of the Ten Commandments can be found in the preface of the first Commandment. In the preface of the first commandment, there is the statement, “God liberated Israel from Egypt.” The ‘preface’ decorating the beginning of the Ten Commandments means that “as God freed Israel from slavery of Egypt and gave freedom, Israel must not oppress the human rights of the socially underprivileged or constrain their freedom.” This ‘human rights protection spirit’ is pervaded in the social norms(3~10 Commandments).
Though the social norms(3~10 Commandments) were given to Israeli free men, the attention was focused to the human rights protection of the socially underprivileged without citizenship. These social norms call for the human rights protection and freedom guarantee of the socially underprivileged and ultimately, this is the first step to recover the identity as the contract people and build the fair society.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

십계명은 모든 구약법전의 근간이 되는 계율로, 이에 대한 학계의 연구는 활발하다. 십계명은 주로 역사비평학적인 관점에서 많은 연구가 진행되었지만, 상대적으로 문학비평학적인 관점에서의 연구는 많지 않다. 본 논문은 십계명에 관련된 역사비평학적 연구 결과를 살펴보는데 그치지 않고, 문학비평학적 분석을 통해 각 계명들의 의미를 살펴보고자 하였다. 특히 사회규범의 범주에 속한 계명들(3~10계명)을 사회-신학적인 측면에서 고찰하는 가운데, 이 계명들안에 내포된 ‘약자의 인권보호 정신’을 찾아보고자 시도하였다. 이를 위해 제3~10계명이 구체적으로 누구를 대상으로 하고 있으며, 제정된 주목적이 무엇인가? 에 관심의 초점을 맞추었다.
제3~10계명은 주로 이스라엘 공동체에서 법적인 공민권을 가지고 있는 이스라엘 자유인, 특히 성인 남성에게 주어진 것인데, 이는 모든 그리스도인들에게 확대 적용가능하다. 십계명이 제정된 목적은 제1계명의 서언에서 찾아볼 수 있다.
제1계명의 서언에는 “하느님이 이스라엘을 이집트에서 해방시키셨다.”는 내용이 나온다. 십계명의 첫 머리를 장식하는 ‘서언’이 의미하는 바는 “하느님이 이스라엘을 이집트 종살이에서 해방시켜 자유를 선사하였듯이, 이스라엘도 사회적 약자의 인권을 억압하거나 자유를 구속하면 안 된다.”는 것이다. 이러한 ‘인권보호 정신’이 사회적 규범(3~10계명) 안에 스며들어 있다.
사회적 규범(3~10계명)들은 이스라엘 자유인에게 주어진 것이지만, 그 관심의 초점은 시민권을 가지지 못한 사회적 약자의 인권보호이다. 이 사회적 규범들은 사회적 약자들의 인권보호와 자유보장을 촉구하는데, 이는 궁극적으로 계약 백성으로서의 정체성 회복과 공정사회 건설을 위한 첫 걸음이다.
