청양지역 독립운동 사적지 활용 방안

With the recent extension of leisure time for people from 5-working days and others and interest on history and culture, each local government has developed the tourism industry as the future core industry. From the major resources, the issues to facilitate on historic and cultural relics that reflect the regional characteristics have become a key now. A great role is undertaken within this flow is the historic site for independent movement of modern time to represent the recent regional sentiment.
Cheongyang also is the area undertaken for representative volunteer military work during the Daehan Empire era and massive 3.1 Independent Movement during the colonialization period with famous leaders in civil militants. Therefore, it is urgent to seek for plans to facilitate the relevant historic site for independent movement. However, with the exception of a few historic sites, most have insufficient management with almost no existence of facilitation plans.
Therefore, through their historic site for independent movement, the plan to publicize the historic site for independent movement is shown with the linkage with the tourist industry to be the foundation of the local advancement.
As a part thereof, it indicates to prepare the conditions through the formation of emotional consensus of local residents on conservation and facilitation of the historic site, linkage with the surrounding tourism resources, establishment of plan to fit into the local situation and the like.
Mter preparing the conditions, it presented the plan on arranging short-term youth experiment program operation, information personnel and major historic site and others. On mid-term and long-term basis, it proposed to build up major landmarks in the special area to represent the museum establishment and independent movement of Cheongyang. In this process, the economic conditions and local scale are considered to present the method for active facilitation of existing facilities, such as, accommodation facilities already made around and closed school and others.
Through this process, the facilitation of the historic site for independent movement of the Cheongyang area would be the creative activities for the local advancement by establishing the historic implication of the Cheongyang area and strengthening the local competitiveness.
