샤오홍슈와 대인 커뮤니케이션을 통한 문화 가치 수용 연구 = A Study on the Acceptance of Cultural Values through Xiaohongshu and Interpersonal Communication

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국에 거주하는 중국인들의 샤오홍슈 앱을 이용하는 방식과 중국인 간 대인 커뮤니케이션이 중국적 문화 가치의 강화에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 미디어 플레이 이론은 개인이 즐거움과 만족을 추구하기 위해 미디어를 선택하고 사용하는 과정을 설명하며, 본 연구에서는 샤오홍슈 이용이 자국 문화 콘텐츠에 대한 접근과 소속감 형성에 기여하는 측면을 해석하는 데 활용되었다. 사회 영향 이론은 개인이 타인과의 상호작용 속에서 가치관에 영향을 받는다는 관점에서, 중국인 간 대인 커뮤니케이션이 중국적 문화 가치의 유지 및 강화에 기여할 수 있음을 시사한다. 이 두 이론은 샤오홍슈 이용과 대인 커뮤니케이션이 중국적 문화 가치를 어떻게 강화하는지를 설명하는 이론적 틀로 기능한다.
이를 실증적으로 검증하기 위해 설문조사를 실시하였고, 제시된 가설들이 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 샤오홍슈는 이주민의 자국 문화 가치 수용에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 이는 미디어 플레이 이론의 설명력을 뒷받침한다. 또한, 중국인 간 대인 커뮤니케이션은 중국적 문화적 가치 수용에 기여함으로써 사회 영향 이론의 적용 가능성을 입증하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examines how Chinese residents in South Korea use the Xiaohongshu app and how interpersonal communication among Chinese individuals influences the reinforcement of Chinese cultural values. The media play theory explains how individuals choose and use media to seek pleasure and satisfaction. In this study, the theory is applied to interpret how the use of Xiaohongshu facilitates access to native cultural content and fosters a sense of belonging. The social impact theory posits that individuals’ values are shaped through interactions with others, suggesting that interpersonal communication among Chinese residents can contribute to the preservation and reinforcement of Chinese cultural values.
The results revealed that all four hypotheses were statistically significant. In particular, Xiaohongshu had a positive impact on maintaining cultural values by offering immigrants a virtual community, supporting the explanatory power of the media play theory. Furthermore, interpersonal communication among Chinese residents contributed to the reinforcement of cultural identity, thereby confirming the applicability of the social impact theory.
