노자(老子)의 상선약수(上善若水) 사상에서 얻은 삶의 지혜(智慧) = Wisdom of Life from the highest good is Like that of water of Lao - zi`s thoughts

Water can be seen everywhere and changeable; it is the commonest thing and natural phenomenon. Water is the most important resource for human life but people do not realize it. However, some people find out laws of life from water which is neglected by people, then connect these laws to physical world and human society to get the way of life, which become a basis of principles of society and moral. Lao-zi teaches us that we should obey the way of inaction and nature, esteem life and oppose war, attach importance of peaceful and inclusive politics and fight against oppression from system of rewards and punishments. Lao-zi also stresses reversion to and syncretism with the nature, practicing the way of inaction and nature is the best way for human society. De, which Lao-zi is talking about, neither means the power of dominations, nor does mean the form and law of moral, but means strong power of softness of a few of people who refuse to chase wealth and success like most of people do, which is not evasive weakness, but peaceful and invincible softness. Thus the way of life which Lao-tzu advocates does not resentfully negate the world without reason, but is a peaceful life in the world which comes from the De in people`s hearts. the highest good is like that of water is the best word which expresses the thoughts of Lao-zi, the highest good means pure nature without selfish desire, syncretism with the Dao, so the best way of life is natural like water. Water, which is in the undermost and disgusting place, is of great benefit to all things but does not struggle with people and any things, people would get great wisdom from understanding the character of water, and then the world will become a beautiful place.
