Hamyang, South Gyeongsang Province, is a significant area in academic and political history in that it is a major activity area for writers of Nammyeong Josik (1501~1572) and a place where various factions coexisted due to the intervention of Seoin and Namin around the time of King Injo's Rebellion. Namgyeseowon Confucian Academy, located in Hamyang, is a space designed to commemorate 'Ildu Jeongyeochang (1450~1504)' as it is well known. Namgyeseowon Confucian Academy showed the appearance of Bukingyeseowon Confucian Academy around the time of its establishment, and then promoted Naminhwa by oriented to 'Donggye Jeongon', and after Mushinran, Seoingye prevailed around Jeong clan in Ha-dong, and after that, the subject of the operation of the Confucian Academy was changed several times, such as accelerating the transition to Noronseowon Confucian Academy through the introduction of the 'Gyeongwonjang system'. In order to examine the concrete reality of these existing discussions, this study examined the Chinese poems about Namgyeseowon contained in the Collection of Writings. As a result, it was confirmed that most of the writers of Chinese poetry who have drawn Namgyeseowon since the 19th century are mainly composed of 'rainfall local figures', especially the characters of Nosahakpa and Hanjuhakpa in Yeongnam ,Honam area.This fact can be said to show that since the 19th century, Namgyeseowon Confucian Academy has been a space for coexistence of various schools regardless of color, a center of academic exchanges among intellectuals in the rainfall area, and a space where Confucian scholars in the late Joseon Dynasty wished to revive Confucianism.
