피아노 반주법 교재 분석을 통한 초급 학습자 지도방안 연구

Nowadays, it is easy to see many musicians handling keyboards freely and doing colorful accompaniments in popular music programs or music contest programs. Students who learn piano as a general hobby, not students who major music, are increasingly interested in these practical accompaniments, as they have become more accessible than classical performances.
However, in the educational conditions of general piano private institutes, it is not enough to realize the sufficient effects of education for accompaniment methods. Since the accompaniment textbooks used in piano private institutes are uniform, though students learn accompaniment methods for a long time, it is often the case that their right hands are limited to melody play and the left hands to chord play.
Therefore, this researcher compared and analyzed three textbooks of the books which are currently used as piano accompaniment textbooks. The textbooks were selected based on their utilization degrees and this researcher's guidance experiences, and were divided and analyzed on the basis of the contents of the textbooks, compared in 7 aspects of the basic concept of accompaniment, tonality, accompaniment pattern, chord, fill-in, intro, and ending. The results of comparative analysis of the textbooks are as follows.
『Yum-Yum Yummy Piano Accompaniment World』 of 'Eumaksekye' is a textbook mainly to learn melody accompaniment, and accompaniment examples are shown in etudes of each unit but, as limited to one or two patterns, it is not enough to handle various accompaniment patterns in one song. However, it is composed of songs with more various tonalities than the other two textbooks, and covers the concepts of the most various accompaniment patterns.
『Master of Accompaniment』 of 'Dongseo Music' enables learners to learn both melody accompaniment and chord accompaniment and, in contrast to the other two textbooks, theoretical concepts or accompaniment patterns are explained with characters, cartoons, and easy terms, which help elementary learners' understanding. In addition, various accompaniment patterns are presented for each etude, showing the utilization of several accompaniment patterns in one song.
Finally, 『Choice Practical Accompaniment』 of 'Crossing' enables learners to learn melody accompaniment after mastering chord accompaniment and, by making the right hand play melody and chord together, it enables learners to conduct more colorful and rich performances and, as intro, fill-in, and ending are explained more in detail than the other two textbooks, learners can enhance the completeness of accompaniment.
Based on these results of this comparative analysis, according to the goal that this researcher intended to guide through the accompaniment textbooks, focusing on these three textbooks and referring to other textbooks in case of insufficiency, this researcher presented a guidance method of 12 lessons, with each lesson for 40 minutes once a week. This research targeted elementary learners at the course level from the second half of Beyer to No. 100 of Czerny, and the educational goal through this guidance plan is as follows.
First, even elementary learners can play with both the accompaniment methods freely, by mastering chord accompaniment and melody accompaniment together from the beginner's course to learn accompaniment method.
Second, when learners play with their right hands, they can play rich melody lines by including the chords into the melody.
Third, by putting fill-in, intro, and ending, which are necessary parts, in the accompaniment, learners can conduct richer performances and, in the last lesson, after selecting one song, they can complete and play the contents they have learned.
Through this research, it is desirable that elementary learners can be guided on the basis of the merits of each textbook by researching various textbooks, moving away from the textbooks that focus on easy melody accompaniment which are currently widely being practiced, so that they can learn various accompaniment methods, and it is expected that the development of textbooks will be activated in order for the learners to learn various and available accompaniment methods that can satisfy their needs.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

요즘은 대중음악 프로그램이나 음악 경연 프로그램 속에서 많은 음악인들이 건반을 자유자재로 다루며 화려하게 반주를 하는 모습을 쉽게 접할 수 있다. 전공생이 아닌 일반적인 취미로 피아노를 배우는 학생들은 클래식 연주보다 이러한 실용반주를 더 쉽게 접할 수 있게 됨에 따라 그에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다.
하지만 일반적인 피아노학원의 교육 실정에서는 이러한 반주법 교육의 효과를 누리기에는 부족한 면이 많다. 학원에서 사용하는 반주법 교재들은 획일화되어 오랜 시간 반주법을 배우더라도 오른손 멜로디, 왼손 코드연주에 국한 되는 경우가 많다.
그렇기 때문에 본 연구자는 현재 피아노 반주법 교재로 사용되어 지고 있는 교재 중 세 개의 교재를 비교 분석하였다. 교재의 활용도와 본 연구자의 지도경험을 기준으로 선정하였으며, 교재의 내용을 근거하여 반주의 기본개념, 조성, 반주패턴, 코드, 필인, 전주, 엔딩의 7가지 측면으로 나누어 비교 분석하였다. 교재를 비교 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다.
음악세계의 『냠냠 맛있는 피아노 반주세상』은 주로 멜로디 반주를 익히는 교재로써 각 단원별 연습곡에 반주예시가 나와 있으며 1-2가지 패턴으로 한정되어 있어서 한곡 안에서 다양한 반주 패턴을 다루기는 부족하다. 하지만 다른 두 교재보다 다양한 조성의 곡들로 구성되어있으며 가장 다양한 반주 패턴의 개념을 다루었다.
동서음악출판사의 『반주의 달인』은 멜로디 반주와 코드 반주를 둘 다 익힐 수 있으며 다른 두 교재와 차별되는 특징으로는 이론개념이나 반주패턴 등을 캐릭터와 만화, 쉬운 용어들로 설명하여 초급학습자들의 이해를 도왔다. 또한 각 연습곡 마다 다양한 반주패턴을 제시하여 한 곡안에서 여러 반주 패턴의 활용을 보여준다.
마지막으로 크로싱 출판사의 『초이스 실용반주』는 코드 반주를 먼저 익힌 후 멜로디 반주를 배우며 오른손이 멜로디와 코드를 같이 연주함으로써 더 화려하고 풍성한 연주를 할 수 있도록 되어있으며 전주, 필인, 엔딩을 다른 두 교재보다 다양하고 자세히 설명이 되어있어 반주를 했을 때의 완성도를 높일 수 있다.
이 같은 비교분석한 결과를 토대로 하여 본 연구자가 반주법 교재를 통해 지도하고자 했던 목표에 따라 세 교재를 중심으로 하면서 부족한 부분들은 다른 교재를 참고 하여 주1회 40분 수업으로 진행되는 12차시의 지도 방안을 제시 하였다. 바이엘 후반에서 체르니100번 과정의 수준의 초급학습자들을 대상으로 하였으며 본 지도안을 통한 교육 목표는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 초급 학습자들도 초급과정부터 코드반주와 멜로디 반주를 같이 익힘으로써 두 가지 반주법을 자유자재로 연주할 수 있다.
둘째, 오른손 연주시 멜로디에 코드를 포함하여 풍성한 멜로디라인을 연주할 수 있다.
셋째, 반주에서 필요한 부분인 필인, 전주, 엔딩을 넣어 보다 풍성한 연주를 할 수 있도록 하며 마지막 차시에는 한 곡을 선정하여 배운 내용들을 다루어 완성하여 연주하도록 하였다.
이 연구를 통해 초급학습자들도 기존에 많이 다루어지는 쉬운 멜로디 반주를 위주로 익히는 교재에서 벗어나 다양한 반주법을 익힐 수 있도록 여러 교재를 연구하여 각 교재의 장점들을 토대로 지도되어지길 바라며, 학습자들의 욕구를 충족시켜줄 수 있는 다양하고 활용적인 반주법을 익힐 수 있도록 교재 개발이 활성화 되어 지기를 기대한다.
