This paper aims to analyze Lee Yeon-ju's poem from the perspective of compulsive metaphor and rewriting in relation to a depressed subject. When looking at the impact of poetry as a dimension of emotional communication, the common view of Lee Yeon-ju's poem, which throws inconvenience to the reader, is focused on the problem of shock, destruction, and destruction. Although this is a linguistic strategy of poetry, most of the methods are analyzed with the life and death of poet Lee Yeon-joo in mind. Due to the real event of death, his poetry has been limited or reduced as an element of myth. This paper aims to show that Lee's obsessive metaphors and reinventions of the depressed subject, with their repetition, transformation, self-destruction, and self-exposure, reveal a desire for a new society.
Lee Yeon-ju's poem shows depressive signs in modern society and actively reveals the problems of self-destruction and alienation. It shows where the fundamental loss of language that has failed to desire begins through the unfortunate birth background, the collapse of the family, and the lack of social outlook. It also emphasizes how the depressed subject is treated in society. This study presents the image of a 'damaged uterus' as the root image and examines the repetition of self-destruction and self-exposure in the terrible reality of family collapse by beings who are difficult to become full members of society through violent and unstable birth. In addition, it is intended to show the process of eventually experiencing greater alienation through the fragmentation of language through repeated transformations of compulsive metaphors.
Poet Lee Yeon-ju's negativity was an inevitable choice to go to a better world. Criticism of the real world and the desire for an ideal society were revealed more intensely through negativity. The unfortunate birth background, the collapse of the family, the absence of social prospects, and the failure of love evoke the point of fundamental loss and reveal the contradictions of individual suffering and modern society. It questions what the true meaning of human beings is, and seeks new possibilities by evoking various signs and patterns of depressed subjects.
