Towards the end of 5C, Emperor O-jin of Japan invited a brilliant young scholar from the Kingdom of Paekche to the royal family of Japan. The young scholar was named In Wang. He was supposed to be the tutor of the princes. Master In Wang became the royal minister of education presiding over the state of Kudarasu (Paekje Province). Meanwhile, Emperor O-jin and his family stayed in Kudarasu, or the Osaka of today. Yes, Emperor O-jin was one who inherited the royal tradition of Paekche.
Osaka is the 2nd largest city in Japan. Once there were guys who have sailed their way through the raging waves to Japan. They were the people from Paekche, who have then occupied the southern part of the ancient Korean peninsula. Anyway, they populated the Osaka province making it their own new homeland which is later to be known as Paekche Province.
In Japan, once there was a time when Paekche was denoted as Kudara. In those days, Japanese people used to admire Paekche as the land of advanced culture. That is, as the culture of ancient Japanese was formed under direct influence from that of the ancient kingdoms which separately ruled Korean peninsula, i.e., Shilla, Kaya, and Kokuryo. Ancient Japan was a land of savage.
In 2002, Akihito(1933～), current Emperor of Japan, once in public announced that Korean blood ties to me. That day, at the Royal Palace in Tokyo, Emperor Akihito has attended a press conference celebrating his 68th birthday, saying as aforementioned.
Inoue Mitsusada (Prof., Tokyo Univ.) and Mizuno Yoo (Prof., Waseda Univ.) earlier made it clear that Emperor O-jin and Emperor Nin-toku, his son, were Japanese immigrants from the royal family of Kudara (Paekche).
In recent years, [Emperor O-jin, the man who came from Kudara] (2001), a work by Ishiwatari Shiniziro who is an expert on ancient Japanese history, has caught great attention from Japanese historians.
I have earlier found the Map of the Namba(name of the older days of Osaka) from later 11C (1098 A.D.) in Japan which says once the Osaka province was called as Kudarasu, as often referred to by the people of Paekche, thereby knowing that once the Osaka province has been called as the State of Paekche (Kudarasu).
