파독간호사들의 (제한적) 페미니즘 형성과정 = The process of limited feminism formation in Germany-dispatched Korean nurses

The Korean Community in Germany is currently run as its axis by those who have settled in Germany among Korean miners and nurses who had went to Germany in the 60's and their children and their next generation. Korean nurses could be recognized in German society because of their job. This led to their individual's self-confidence and self-esteem.
In this article, I attempt to describe the journey of life of Korean women dispatched as a nurse to Germany since the mid-1960s and that of other Korean who settled in German society, related to feminism. I also try to discuss that looking back on their life's journey, they are thought that they have established self-confidence and self-esteem as a women beyond the institutional constraints given to them and have led their own lives based on it.
The patriarchy is only a psychological program to make women believe that women are still inferior to men. Thus, the patriarchy functions as a system. This system allows women to be considered as an inferior existence through education. In a patriarchal society, women rarely get a chance of leading their life independently or fulfilling their own dreams themselves. But it was a nurse in Korea who could receive at least professional training among women deprived of the opportunity. The background provided them with an opportunity to go to Germany. Korean nurses were confronted with difficulties due to the issues of communication or of new work environments in the early stage of the emigration, but patients and doctors gave positive reviews of their work. In the sense that they accomplished something on the efforts and achievements thereof, they came to gain a kind of self-confidence. The thought that they made efforts and fulfilled something instilled the awareness that they themselves are special and vailable into their mind. The fact that they were socially recognized played a role in increasing their individual's self-awareness and self-esteem. However, their economic independence obtained in the area of ​​public activity and an resulting independent and unique way of their life unexpectedly acted on their private sphere of home, especially on between their couple. There is no certain ground reported or the reason why their economic independence and way life did not penetrate their couple relationship - due to the female sex embodied in their growth process or the patriarchal system that is transplanted and exists in their emigration society. In conclusion, there are still limits in Korean women's feminism
