국내개발 무기체계 수출 증진을 위한 한국형 후속 군수지원체계 구축 방안에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Establishment of Korean Type Follow-up Logistics Support System to Promote Export of Domestic Developed Weapons System

The exports of domestic developed weapons system has been increasing since 2011 when the large scale export such as the T-50 aircraft was achieved. However, compared to the US, which is the advance exporting country of weapons systems, the establishment and operation of support system is insufficient.
In order to facilitate the export program of defense products beyond the limited domestic market, it is necessary to institutionalize Korean type follow-up logistics support system to eliminate the suspicions of the follow-up logistics support doing the total life cycle of the weapon system from the purchasing country.
In the short term, it is necessary to establish the technical assistance support, weapon system training, follow-up support for publications and technical data and support system for repair parts in connection with initial support. It is also to apply the FMS BO and the supply support agreement(CLASS) system to support the maintenance of the parts for operations of the system, and to operate the organization to build the korean type follow-up logistics support system.
It would be desirable for organization to allow the DAPA to control the organization for subsequent logistics support, and the working organization to utilize each army organization, but increase it as the workload increase.
In order to survive in competition with developed and emerging nations in the future, there is no experience of intergovernmental transactions to support the subsequent military logistics system in Korea.
Through the establishment of korean type follow-on logistics support system proposed in this study, it is possible to increase the export possibility by securing the superiority in competition with the major countries in the global market by giving the confidence to the purchasing country of the domestic development weapon system, it is expected to contribute to improvement.
