易이 韓醫學의 形成에 끼친 影響 . -1994
This study was conducted to examine the effect of Yok(易) on formation of Oriental medicine centering around theses connecting the Oriental medicine to Yok(易) recently shown in China, in order to establish the position of Yok(易) in the Oriental medicine. The result of this study is summarized as follows.
1. The meaning, formation and development of Yok(易) are as follows with respect to its formation principle.
1) It seems that Yok(易) is the metaphysical system of natural phenomena by the relative distinction of Yin(陰) and Yang(陽) through making divination sign(卦) with 2 kinds of sticks and amulet(爻符), which actually expressed the natural view of ancient pure materialism.
2) Yok(易) was developed to mathematic eight divination signs(八卦) by drawing a conclusion from connection with thing on the basis of a concrete occurrence. And then when it was combined with Toe family(道家) the principle of change in the Yin(陰) and Yang(陽) became expatiated to consider it as the entity of key idea so that it had an effect on both expression of its own philosophic idea and formation of Chinese cultural idea.
3) Yok(易) was studied by the method centering around Sangsu(象數) in the Han(漢) era, respectively, and Uiri(義理) in the Wi(魏) and Jin(晋) eras. And then, it was done around Uih(義理) in the Song(宋) era while indicating the Sangsu(象數). As a result, it seems that the academic characteristics of Yokhak(易學) were differentially shown.
2. The formation relation between the Oriental medicine and Yok(易) is mainly composed of two suggestions that they are differentially considered because there is difference in their application viewpoints, and that they are academically considered as same becaused their basic principles are same although their application viewpoints are different. However, generally, it is divided into the positive and negative suggestions rather than the relation with the Oriental medicine. Of them, the general standpoint is that the original foundation of Yok(易) and Oriental medicine is same although there is no a direct formative relation between them, so that they must be considered in a same category. Namely, the knowledge of Astronomy, mathematics, and physical geography based on the theory of Naekyong(內經) and Yokjon(易傳) after the Jin(秦) and Han(漢) eras is the key of the figure theory of Yin and Yang(陰陽數度之學), which resulted in possession of Yokhak(易學). Yokjon(易傳) explained Yokkyong(易經) by using the figure theory of Yin and Yang(陰陽數度之學), Naekyong(內經) made the medical experience logic by combining Ohaeng theory(五行說) with the figure theory of Yin and Yang(陰陽數度之學). Because there is difference in their suggestion according to the difference in their methods for application, their own theoretical system was established by using the different conception between them. Even though Juyok(周易) did not act as a theoretical base in formation of Oriental medicine, their basic flow was same.
3. Based on the relations between Yok(易) and Oriental medicine, both formation of Uiyok(醫易) and medicine on Yok(易) are summarized as follows.
1) The formation of Uiyok(醫易) seems to be accomplished in the concrete condition of medical application because medicine(醫) and Yok(易) have the same method for applying the change of both time and space.
2) The concrete application of Uiyok(醫易) was that the medicine mainly resulted from Songyok(宋易), when Son Il-Kyu(孫一奎) and Cho Yang-Kuy(趙養萎) succeeded and developed this kind of academic style by explaining the medicine as Yok(易). And then, their greatest development was achieved by Jang Kyong-Ak(張景岳). In the Myong(明) and Chong(淸) eras, a number of medical scholars applied it to even basic theory and individual clinic fields.
4. The theory of formation of Oriental medicine based on Yok(易) is classified into Naekyong(內經) theory influenced by Juyok(周易) and the medical theory done by Songyok(宋易) after the Song(宋) era, according to the relations in both their formation and changing processes. Then, the formation frame in relations of Naekyong(內經) theory and Juyok(周易) as the base of philosophy in the Han(漢) era can be concluded as IlYin-IlYang-WiJi-Do(一陰一陽爲之道), DongJuk-YokByon(動卽易變), KyoKam-KiJae(交感旣濟), while the formation frame of medicine(醫) and Yok(易) in relations of medical theory after the Song(宋) era and Songyok(宋易) as Yokhak(易學) in the Song(宋) era can be done as TaeKuk-MyongMun(太極-命門), KamLee-SuHwa(坎離-水火), BuTae-SungKang(否泰-升降).
5. The effect of Yok(易) on the oriental medicine is based on Yinyang theorry(陰陽理論), Jongchae conception(整體觀) and Yinyang demonstration(陰陽辨證) which act as the base in formation of the Oriental medicine. Il-Yin(一陰) in Yok(易) is used as the basic frame for formation of the Oriental medicine by suggesting newly the theory of relations between Yin(陰) and Yang(陽) on the basis of the principle that Il-Yin(一陰) is hided in the mid이e of E-yang(二陽) based on the principle hided in the disease occurrence and development in Yok(易), it is used as the application frame of the Oriental medicine formation by suggesting availability for treatment of change in phenomenon.
