The mind of doing art, in its true meaning, is to maintain such attitudes: to have humble manners in harmony with nature, to feel a tender pity for all creation and to respect them in itself. Art itself is after all to focus attention on others, hold an infinite affection for them, quest for the essence of humans, nature and the world, and to discover ideas and values worth preserving.
Such views on art shares some similarities with an ecological perspective as well as the East Asian view of nature and the universe. They all see everything in this world as being equal, and enthusiastically state that their true identity can be secured through their organic connection.
"Ecology" refers to the state of living things which, in other words, means their maintaining of the way of life and existence. It is thus the matter of the body and its desire. After all, it has to do with the life of things that inflicts no harm on the others even under the same roof.
All the things are ecologically associated with each other, and have a symbiotic relationship in which they exist together in a way that benefits them all. They are all within the net of relationship and therefore by no means bring about any discrimination.
It leads to the view of the world that sees humans as being closely integrated into nature. As a result, this perspective brings a paradigm shift that has so far heavily relied on the scientific rationalism of the West.
Considering such belief that we are ceaselessly influenced by karma with nature, art is a sort of the interplay of man and nature. As nature call for nothing to me, I am also not an appreciator or predator of nature. We all together may participate in raising changes through practicing art. Art may become something that reflects an organic existence of humans in harmony with nature.
