사이버대학교 강의콘텐츠 개발과정 및 개발관리체제 사례 연구 = Contents Development Process of Cyber University and a Case Study of Development Management System

This study aims to investigate contents development process of cyber university and to explore a case of development management system. ‘A’cyber university in Gyeongbuk province was selected for the study. The scope of analysis was set as types of contents developed, trend of contents development, contents development process and contents development management system.
For analyzing resources, qualitative research method was mainly employed including an analysis of precedent researches, interviews with focus group, and using the university resources.
The results were as follows:
First, contents development types of ‘A’cyber university were classified as VOD type, VOD and slide blended type, electronic blackbored, VTR and electronic blackbored blended type, flash type, and authoring tool type.
Second, the progress of change in the development tended to be biased into one type although many diverse contents were developed.
Third, the process of content development of ‘A’cyber university consisted of 5 stages based on ADDIE process – Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation – and continual revision was made in the process. In particular, when contents were developed, lecturers were to be preparing manuscripts only, and all processes were scheduled to be carried out by specialists from lecturing design to web development.
Finally, ‘A’cyber university equiped contents development system. For contents development services shall be made through contents development team with contents operation committee as an advisory institution for development and management of contents. The contents development management team took a responsibility in contents management, and all outputs and resources related to contents are saved and preserved. The copyright of contents are given to lecturers, but the rights of contents use, profit, disposal and secondary writings are given to ‘A’cyber university. Accordingly, the lecture commissioning agreement clearly indicating the copy right is documented and controlled, and this agreement should be made in new subjects and redeveloped subjects alike in principle.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 사이버대학교의 강의콘텐츠 개발과정 및 개발관리체제 사례를 살펴보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경북 소재 사이버대학교 중의 하나인 A사이버대학교의 강의콘텐츠와 개발과정을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 분석범주는 강의콘텐츠 개발유형 및 개발 변화 추이, 강의콘텐츠 개발과정, 강의콘텐츠 개발관리체제로 설정하였다.
본 연구를 위한 자료분석방법은 선행연구 분석과 포커스그룹 면담, A사이버대학교의 관련 자료들을 이용하여 질적연구방법을 주로 사용하였다.
본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, A사이버대학교의 강의콘텐츠 개발유형은 VOD 유형, VOD와 슬라이드 혼합유형, 전자칠판 유형, VTR과 전자칠판 혼합유형, 플래시 유형, 저작도구 유형으로 구분 할 수 있었다.
둘째, 개발 변화 추이는 A사이버대학교는 다양한 유형의 콘텐츠를 개발하고 있지만 그 유형이 한쪽으로 치우치는 경향이 있었다.
셋째, A사이버대학교의 강의콘텐츠 개발 과정은 ADDIE 절차에 근거하여 분석, 설계, 개발, 실행 평가의 5단계로 구성되어 있으며, 진행과정에서 지속적인 수정 작업이 이루어지고 있었다. 특히, A사이버대학교는 강의콘텐츠를 개발할 때 교수자는 강의원고만 작성하고 교수설계부터 웹개발까지 모든 과정을 전문가가 진행하고 있었다.
마지막으로 A사이버대학교의 강의콘텐츠 개발관리체제로 콘텐츠 개발 업무는 콘텐츠개발팀, 콘텐츠 개발 및 관리에 대한 자문기구로 콘텐츠운영위원회를 두고 있었다. 강의콘텐츠의 관리는 콘텐츠개발팀에서 맡고 있으며, 강의콘텐츠와 관련된 모든 산출물 및 자료들은 모두 저장 ․ 보관되고 있었다. 그리고, 강의콘텐츠에 대한 지적재산권은 교수자가 소유하지만, 개발된 강의콘텐츠의 사용권, 수익권, 처분권, 2차 저작물의 작성권 등의 권리는 A사이버대학교가 소유하고 있었다. 그에 따라 저작권에 대해 명시한 강의 의뢰계약서를 문서화하여 관리하고 있으며, 강의 의뢰계약은 신규과목과 재개발과목 모두 체결해야 함을 원칙으로 하고 있었다.
