드라마 「눈물의 여왕」의 스토리텔링 = A Study on storytelling of the drama ‘Queen of Tears’.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 웹 기반 콘텐츠의 속성을 전유한 로맨스 드라마 「눈물의 여왕」의 스토리텔링을 분석하였다. 「눈물의 여왕」은 다중 아크 플롯으로 개연성을 담보하여 극적 상황의 과장을 덜어내고, 웃음을 유발하는 다양한 유형의 웨비소드를 배치하는 스토리텔링을 구사한 로맨스 드라마다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이야기를 분절하여 배치한 축적의 다중 아크 플롯은 사랑과 성장의 서브 캐릭터 아크, 상황적·심리적 인과관계의 플래시백 구성, 향후 전개 상황을 암시하는 중의적 대사 등의 세 가지이다. 둘째, 텍스트 내적·외적 요소들을 활용한 절합의 웨비소드는 오브제의 상징적 의미나 극적 상황에 관한 정보를 제공하여 개연성을 강화하는 에필로그, 극적 긴장을 이완하는 웃음과 눈물의 길항, 대중문화 텍스트를 활용한 자의식적인 상호텍스트성 등의 세 가지이다. 결론적으로 로맨스 장르의 운명적 사랑 서사에 코미디 요소를 절합한 것만으로 설명하기 어려운 「눈물의 여왕」의 대중적 성공 요인은 급변하는 플랫폼 환경에서 웹 기반 콘텐츠의 속성을 전유한 결과임을 확인하였다.

In this study the storytelling of the romance drama ‘Queen of Tears’, which appropriated the attributes of web-based contents was analyzed. As a result it was confirmed that ‘Queen of Tears’ is a work that uses storytelling that eliminates the exaggeration of the dramatic situation by ensuring probability with a ‘multi-arc plot’ and arranges various types of ‘webisode’ that induce laughter. First the ‘multi-arc plot’ of accumulation in which the story is segmented and arranged is three types a sub-character arc of love and growth, a flashback composition of situational and psychological causal relationships, and dual meaning of dialogue suggesting future developments. Second there are three types of concordance ‘webisode’ using internal and external elements of the text: epilogue that provides information about the symbolic meaning or dramatic situation of the object, speech that relaxes dramatic tension, and self-conscious intertextuality using popular culture texts. In conclusion it was confirmed that the popular success factor of ‘Queen of Tears’, which is difficult to explain just by fitting comedy elements to the fateful love narrative of the romance genre, is the result of appropriating the attributes of web-based content in a rapidly changing platform environment.isney 3D animation is referred the animation that has been produced since the Disney and Pixar’s merger.
