이벤트·컨벤션에 관한 연구 : 부산지역을 중심으로 = A study of event·convention

Korea has achieved rapid industrialization and urban development during the last of the 20th century.
In the few millenium, there has been much interest in ASEM convention, Evironmental Design Exhibition, COEX etc, in seoul.
There is, therefore, no need to argue the point the answer is only onething for a new vitality of urban.
To be useful in the event, however, needs to be reconceptalized and redefined as the application of a new strategy rather than as a meditation of passed strategy.
In pusan, Pusan Exhibition & Convention Center ltd. estabilished,
By 2001 year, september, international convention building is going to be completed.
In this paper, 1 would like to present some solutions about the event convention of Pusan especially.
1)Fixation for a creation of theme
Collecting peoples of all over the world is a very difficulty. if possible, have to collect lots of people in the time.
In order to accomplish one's purpose have to reserch through marketing activity, themes of universaliy, international sence. Composing of a experienced koreanmen who have got the possession of an global appreciative eye as well as foreigner is not easy.
2)making a infrastructure.
First of all, the extension of traffic, sight seengs, entertainments, international facilities for event convention are a very important elements.
Generally, foreign visitors want to experience characterized cultures and eatings, so when they returned home, they would like to look back good memories for a longtime.
3)Composing of a convertion Bureau
Bring up experts constantly needs also systemtic education is an indispensable.
The convention Bureau is useful solving a lots of problem like a section of planning and management.
Finally I will propose, all commercial industrial and government functions concentracted Seoul with over 90% of international business and domestic headquarters including COEX.
In globalization, a balanced developement of local clutures and industries is a very important.
The most local cultures containing a characteristies may be just a universalities.
I hope that this analysis of the role in progressing pusan event convention management.
