탈근대적 주체와 기연적 사고 -라깡과 푸코를 중심으로- = Post-modern Subject and Occasional Thinking: According to Lacan and Foucault

The `Death of the Subject`, which is discussed as a main topic in the current philosophical discourses, is not only regarded as a slogan of the postmodernism, but also must be actual events, in which the ontological responsibility exists. This Death was accepted by men without their sense of guilt. Otherwise it means, that the theoretical deconstruction of the subject, namely the denial of the subjectivity, that takes control of all things according to the principle of identity and universality, is taken for granted in a pluralistic society. It is because the transcendental subject pretends to have the power and authority, to oppress the others or to ignore their difference and individuality. Moreover the notion of the subject can be replaced by another notions of human beings, surely in respect that it could be constructed in the modern age. In this regard seems the subject`s death to be not worth mentioning. On the contrary, through such a death are our lives admitted to be diverse and free. So then may it be asked whether the subject is worthy of rehabilitation or not in present time. Therefore it seems irony, to make such a reconception of the subject in the situation, that it`s authority has be denied. However am I afraid, that a crisis of the norm and discipline, which resulted form the death of the subject, will produce a social disorder and violence. Thus an announcement of the subject`s death has both positive and negative aspects. It si important therefore to consider the reconception of the subject associated with the occasional thoughts, that could play a crucial role in explaining the post-modern society. A possibility of new concept of the subject, that will understand society and culture in 21st century, can be sought by researching a relation between a post-modern subject and the occasionalism.
