International relations today assume a delicate and complicated aspect and under-go a radical change, beheaded by the bipolar system's multipolarization and United States-Soviet detente mood with began to appear in 1960s. Such a radical change in international relations is considered as a influential factor of safety in the Peninsula of Korea where interest of several powers of the world are entangled. Hence in the viewpoint of maintenance of safety and peace in Korea, a change in the world situation, particularly, in the interrelationships among four string powers, i.e, United States, Japan, China, and Soviet Union, has a great significance.
In this paper, I will look into how interrelationships among four strong powers, namely ① Chinese-Soviet relation ② Japanese-Soviet relation ③ Japanese-Chinese relation ④ United States-Chinese relation ⑤ United States-Soviet relation, will evolve.
Nowadays, the fact that relations of strong powers which have interests in the Peninsula of Korea, undergo a radical change must be regarded as a grim reality. Such a change might to harm, as well as good, to security of the Peninsula of Korea, Moreover, it is evident that no country defend our own position faithfully since all international relations are directly related to its own interest. Therefore, the peace of the Peninsula of Korea can not be kept automatically as detente mood af powers ripens. Our security and national interest must be pursued by only ourselves, and they are closely related with Kim Il Sung's war motive. Consequently, above all, the extension of our own power is urgently demanded for security of Korea.
