예비체육교사 교육봉사 활동 사례 분석을 통한 개선 방안 탐색 = A Study on the Strategies for Improvement for Prospective Teachers in Physical Education through the Analysis of Educational Volunteer Activities

국문 초록 (Abstract)

목적: 이 연구는 예비체육교사들의 교육봉사 활동의 구체적인 사례 분석을 통해 개선 방안을 제시하는 데 그목적이 있다.
방법: 연구 참여자인 연구자와 예비체육교사 교육봉사 담당 전문가 3인, 교육봉사생 4인, 총 8명을 선정하여교육봉사 관련 문서와 관찰 내용, 심층 인터뷰 자료를 수집하고 귀납적 범주 분석을 통해 범주화하고 의미화하였다.
결과: 체육 행사 중심 사례는 행사의 이해와 책임감 있는 실천으로 체육교육 행정, 운영, 관리 등 실무 중심으로 이루어졌고 체육 실기 역량 중심 사례는 교수법, 지도법, 수준별 교수·학습 등의 이론과 실천의 전문성함양 과정으로 이루어졌다. 개선 방안으로는 첫째, 예비체육교사의 흥미와 특기를 살린 인력풀 제도와 해당기관과의 협력 시스템이 구축되어야 한다. 둘째, 교육봉사 활동 실천 가이드, 우수 사례, 탐구적 교수·학습 자료, 평가를 위한 점검표 등의 매뉴얼이 개발되어야 한다. 셋째, 예비체육교사의 교육적이고 특색 있는 프로그램 개발 및 이론과 실천을 위한 융합적 교육과정 개선의 변화가 필요하다.
결론: 교육봉사 활동은 예비체육교사 역량 함양 중심으로 특성을 살리는 시스템, 교육봉사의 실천적 지식 함양을 위한 매뉴얼 개발, 이론과 실천의 연계성 있는 교육과정 변화의 개선이 필요하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze cases of volunteer activities in physical education by prospective teachers to develop the strategies for improvement.
Methods: A total of 8 participants, including the researcher of this study, 3 experts in charge of coordinating volunteer activities for prospective physical education teachers, and 4 volunteers, were chosen for the study, and documents and observational notes on volunteer activities were collected and in-depth interviews were conducted. Then, through inductive thematic analysis, the collected data was categorized and interpreted.
Results: As for the cases on physical education events, they were conducted while focusing on managerial aspects of physical education, such as physical education administration, operation, and management through understanding and responsible practice of the events, and in the cases on practical competency for physical education, they were focused on the process of cultivating expertise in both theory and practice such as teaching methods, guidance methods, and level-specific teaching and learning. For improvement, first, it would need a human resource pool system that considers both interests and specialities of prospective physical education teachers and a cooperation system with relevant organizations should be organized. Second, it would be necessary to develop the guidance on educational volunteer activities, educational materials for teaching and learning, and manuals such as checklists for evaluation. Third, it would be essential to transform the convergent curriculum for theory and practice in order to develop educational and unique programs for prospective teachers in physical education.
Conclusion: Educational volunteer activities are in need of the system which could improve and enhance the competences of prospective physical education teachers, the manual for cultivating practical knowledge on educational volunteering, and the improvement of curriculum that could practically incorporate theories into practices.
