50년대 대구경북지역 군소작가1)들의 신문소설의 발굴과 의미 -이정수, 김동사, 홍영의 신문소설에 나타난 지역적 의미를 중심으로- = A Study on the Newspaper Stories of Daegu-Gyeongbuk Region in 1950`

This study aims to investigate the contemporary meaning of the stories of Daegu Gyeongbuk newapapers of 1950` newly iscovered ; especially, written by YiJeongSu and HongYoungEui, KimDongSa. We could really understand diverse sufferings and drives of Deagu-Gyeongbuk region of 1950` through the excavation and study of these stories. YiJeong-Su sensibly tried to represent the reality and needs of korean movie makers through the conflict between director and actress and Kim,Dong-Sa endeavored to conserve the spirit of korean traditional morality, stimulating the sensible feeling of newspaper readers through the onfused and tragic conclusion caused by one woman`s immoral, deviant behavior. Hong,Yong-Eui, in his stories, motivated meaningfully buddhistic wisdom based on historic background of Daegu-kyeongbuk region. In <Yeoltoeuipungsok>, transforming of a woman character as a antagonist related with korean buddhistic nun`s stories, in that having been also discoursed buddhistic stories(legends and folk tales, mythologis of Korea dynasty in 12c handed down in Samgukyusa(三國遺事) by Illyeon) implicated deep messages of buddhistic teachings. Because Hong was a buddhist and korean literature professor, his stories could been also understood as a korean heritage stories of Daegu and Kyeongbuk handed down from Silla dynasty. And also his stories, even though not having any insufficiency as a anticommunist, specially in <Yeoltoeuipungsok> tried to represent the denial of blind and radical anticommunist, in which were sometimes innocent heroins and characters confined by korean police, what is called C.I.C. Even though local study partly having done until now, these newly discovered stories should give an establishment for the rehabilitation of local culture in Deagu-Gyeongbuk region in 1950`. Korean study yet having been not able to find the peculiar characteristics of regional cultural space in 1950` and the true meanings of 1950`s novels in newspaper, These story tellers; Yi, Kim and Hong, three tried to reveal a local originality and background through series stories of news media but also struggle to touch the code of desires of refugees in 1950`. And now, the right positions for these writings should been permitted local history for minor writers of Daegu and Kyeongbuk in literary history because they reflect not only contemporary social problems ; anticommunism and regional humanistic and moral conflicts, but also omethings on how to deal with orphans and disabled soldiers and widows etc. In consequence, theses regional newspaper stories have implied the regional cultural meanings of how to write and what to write. Therefore, we will have to research much more newspapers to expand the new regional territory of the stories for a locality.
