學校體操普及의 實態에 關한 硏究 : 慶南道內 國民學校를 中心으로 = A Study on the Status of Gymnastics Diffusion of the Primary School in Kyeong Nam

1. The purpose of this study
The primary school instructs the children gymnastics in order to improve the physical standards of the nations, but there are actually a lot of problems in coaching gymnastics.
And the representative gymnastic team of Kyeong Nam has ofter marked the lower record in the National Athletic Games or the National Athletic Games for Junior.
Therefore the authors analyzed the problems a s the following three factors :
(1) the problem of the leader
(2) the problem of the children s consciousness structure and constructing the gymnastic team
(3) The problem of facilities and administration system
The purpose of this study is effectively to diffuse gymnastics, to contribute to the gymnastic development of Kyeong Nam, and moreover, to play a role m the elevation of the physical standards of the nation, by researching the actual condition of gymnastic diffusion on the basis of the opinion of the head gymnastic teachers of 205 primary schools in Kyeong Nam.
Ⅱ. The result of the study
(1)The problem of the leader
For the expansion of gymnastic diffusion of the primary school, it is very important to reorganize the physical education curriculum of the college of education, to expand the opportunity of gymnastic institutes for the leaders or the head gymnastic teachers or all the primary school teachers, and all the teachers to take interest in gymnastics.
(2) The problem of the children s consciousness structure and constructing the gymnastic team
Some children are much interested in gymnastics owing to the active instruction of the teacher and the gymnastic technigue, the others have fear about gymnatics because of the negligent instruction of the teacher.
It is necessary for us to construct the gymnastic team, but there s hardly any school having the excellent team in Kyeong Nam, for lack of budget, facilities, leader, and the like.
(3) The problem of facilties and administration system
General and special facilities and administration system are very poor as compared with fixed standards, so it is Important expand or diffuse these facilities and the nurse teacher and the nursing facilities for protectiong the children, and also to increase budget for gymnastic diffusion.
Besides all these things, it is very important to tram competent leaders, to egually arrang them in every district, to continuouslv bring up gymastic team, and to put the system of circuit coach and the system of exclusive teacher for physical education in operation
