The purpose of this study is to examine into the relationship between the lifestyle and the consumer satisfaction for adult participants in golf. As for the targets of this study, it used totally 342 adults (from more than 20 years old to less than 65 years old) with 221 men and 121 women, who are visiting the indoor golf clubs and the golf courses in Jeju area, for the actual analysis.
As for the measurement tool used in this study, it quoted the questionnaire, which was used in "A Study on a Marketing Strategy Depending on Consumers' Buying-Behavior Styles for Sports Facilities" by Park Min-taek (1995), as a test of lifestyle.
In terms of the statistical analysis used for data analysis, it conducted the reliability analysis, the frequency analysis, and the multiple regression, depending on a purpose of analysis.
The conclusions, which were obtained according to these methods and procedures, are as follows.
First, given seeing the differences between the socio-demographic factors and the lifestyles, it was shown that men are higher than women as for a sports-preference style, and as for a self-control style, the group in their less than 30s is highest and the next was higher in the group in theft more than 50s. Also, as for an influence style, it is highest in the group from their more than 30s to their less than 50s, and it was shown to be in order of the groups in their less than 30s and in their more than 50s. Depending on an income, it was shown that the less an income, the higher the styles of the sports preference and of the fashion pursuit. Even as for self-control, it was shown that the group with small income is highest. Depending on a job, the sports preference was shown to be high in the groups engaging in students, self-employers, and teaching-staff and office job, and the fashion pursuit was shown to be high in the groups of students, self-employers and housewives,
Second, as for the differences of consumer satisfaction according to socio-demographic factors, it was shown that the internal satisfaction is highest in the group in their 30s-50s and the internal satisfaction is higher in order of more than in their 50s and of less than in their 30s. Depending on an income, it was shown that the external satisfaction is highest in the group in their 30-50s and is higher in order of groups in their less than 50s and in their less than 30s, Depending on a job, it was shown that the external satisfaction is highest in students and is higher in order of job categories such as profession and management, housewives, self-employers, and teaching-staff and office job. The internal satisfaction was shown to be highest in other job category, and was shown to be relatively high in job categories of housewives and self-employers. As for the differences of consumer satisfaction depending on demographic factors, it was shown that the internal satisfaction is highest in the group in their 30-50s, and is higher in order of their more than 50s and their Less than 30s. Depending on an income, it was shown that the external satisfaction is highest in the group in their 30-50s and is higher in order of the groups in their less than 50s and in their less than 30s. Depending on a job, it was shown that the external satisfaction is highest in students and is higher in order of job categories such as profession and management, housewives, self-employers, and teaching-staff and office job. It was shown that the internal satisfaction is highest in other job category and is relatively high in the job categories of housewives and self-employers.
Third, it was shown that the lifestyle of adult participants in golf has a partial effect on consumer satisfaction.
In Other words, it means that the higher a fashion-pursuit style, the internal satisfaction is higher and that the higher the self-control and the fashion pursuit, the external satisfaction gets higher.
