<세자매>의 집, 폭력적 시간과 공간의 존재론적 아카이브 = The Three Sisters' House, Ontological Archive of Violent Time and Space

In the movie "Three Sisters" (2021), this paper analyzes how the memories of past violent time and space of the three main characters continue to the present and erodes their lives, and examines how they overcome this problem and become new subjects. In particular, the meaning of time and space in the film was analyzed in terms of the resistance or the power of liberation of heterotopic space. The three sisters show a space to try to change from object to subject, resisting the patriarchal order that has suppressed them. They disturb the patriarchal ruling order while resisting the existing oppressive space to which they belong, and transform the rigid spaces into heterotopic spaces. They cause incidents to escape the control of spaces dominated by patriarchal systems such as houses, churches, prayer houses, and schools surrounding them. As a result, the space of the other is transformed into a space of subject and a space of creation with different values and meanings. They showed the power of resistance through the replacement of heterotopic spaces in situations where patriarchal oppression was applied.
The three sisters are carnival characters that show the dynamic process of creation. Carnival is based on a rejection of established authority and is characterized by a desire for creation and change and a future-orientedness. The dynamics of the three sisters drive them to make the time they belong to the time of heterochronia and to build the heterotopia that the time builds. Heterotopia is a space where women/subjects live and exist in that as soon as the subject recognizes and resists the absurdity of space, the space is newly transformed into a heterogeneous space. <Three Sisters> critically depicts the space and time that act as the basis of human existence by connecting them to the family, and allows them to recognize the value of ethical life beyond the narrative of a family and consider the meaning of absurd reality.
