허수경 시에 드러나는 헤테로토피아와 생태적 상상력 = Heterotopia and Ecological Imagination Revealed in Heo Soo-Kyung's Poem

This study focused on the ecological imagination revealed through the heterotopia of Heo Soo-kyung's poem, 'Archaeological Site of Excavation' and 'Station.' Heterotopia, a space of 'other, unfamiliar, and mixed species' raises an object to the reality of the time and moves closely in conjunction with ecological imagination as a postmodern reason to overcome war or harmful consequences of modern times.
Archaeological Site of Excavation' is a heterotopia that remembers the time and culture of the past. Digging into the strata of history and deciphering the lives of ancient people are new reasons for time and space. 'The time of potatoes that grow lives underground after the cold bronze time, which signifies the destruction of life, seeks ethical practice of life solidarity. Also, 'station,' a place where people of different races, genders, and classes are mixed, is a platform where the connection and spread of various people begins. Above all, it is a heterotopia of solidarity without borders as a place of performance and accommodation of refugees who risked their lives for civil war, religion, and racism.
As said, heterotopia and ecological imagination revealed in Heo Soo-kyung's poem as a postmodern view signifies coexistence and co-prosperity, and life solidarity as resistance. Also, how he himself lived an ecological life and wrote poems in his native language can be considered as a broad poetic response to the ecological crisis in aesthetic and practical dimensions.
