외국인 고급 학습자를 위한 한국 전쟁소설 감상 교육 연구 : 전쟁 트라우마 극복을 중심으로

This study aims to reveal the significance and necessity of appreciation education for foreign advanced learners, and to present ways to appreciate Korean war novels centered on overcoming war trauma.
Recently, the number of Korean learners is increasing and the level of learners is diversifying. Therefore, Korean language education centered on language education is limited. Literature education is education that can supplement these limitations. This is because comprehensive education is possible for literature education. Therefore, literature appreciation education is needed. In particular, considering that the novel genre that can contain all of this in the narrative is the most suitable, and that it is a foreign language learning environment, it is reasonable to use short stories. As for the topic of education, this research focuses on the Korean War, which contains Korea's unique characteristics and will not be unfamiliar to foreign learners. War novels set in the Korean War were published in the 1950s and 1960s, and the educational value of war novels is overcoming hardships. Therefore, this research defines the hardship as war trauma and aims to suggest ways of how learners can overcome the war trauma.
Thus, the concept and symptoms of war trauma were identified in this article, and the specific criteria for symptoms were summarized through DSM-5. Based on this, it analyzed the trauma and attitude of overcoming war novels. In this study, it was selected as a Korean war novel published in the 1950s and 1960s. A total of eight works were selected and classified into three attitudes to post-traumatic growth. First, he revealed the causes and symptoms of the war trauma in which the character in the work was seen. In addition, the attitude of overcoming the war trauma was reset to 'will to overcome through love, discover inner strength, and re-recognition of the meaning of life' so that the attitude of the characters in the novel could be encompassed. It went through the process of analyzing what the character's overcoming attitude was focused on and whether the content contained educational values.
The three attitudes to overcome the war trauma and one of the selected works was selected to present the actual practice of appreciation education. The significance and the purpose of appreciation education in Korean language education were first revealed and an effective map model was formed. Through this, the third city's guidance plan to learn Lee Chung-joon's "dumb and idiot" was formed and suggested focusing on activities that allowed learners to become independent readers.
In this study, it was intended to suggest that literature appreciation education in Korean language education could be possible in terms of the nature of literature as well as the enhancement of language skills. However, it is regrettable that the content cruelty, dialects, and difficult vocabulary of war novels can be used as educational content. Nevertheless, literature appreciation education through Korean War novels provides foreign learners with the opportunity to learn about Korea and experience the situation at that time. Moreover, it has great significance in terms of providing time to understand the emotions of Koreans. It is also meaningful in that learners can learn the growth of overcoming hardships shown by the character in the novel, rather than taking only the Korean War itself as a learning element.
