해방기 시의 건설 담론과 수사적 특징 = A Study on the Construction Discourse and Rhetoric Characteristics in the Poems of Liberation Period

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문에서는 해방기에 출간된 네 권의 공동 시집인『해방기념시집』,『해방기념 시집 횃불』,『삼일기념시집』,『전위시인집』을 대상으로 해방기 시에 지배적으로 형성된 건설의 담론과 그것이 형성된 수사적 맥락을 짚어보았다. 특히 해방기 시에 집중적으로 드러난 새나라 건설의 담론이 마음과 감정 계열의 시어들과의 관련 속에서 펼쳐지고 있음에 주목하였다.
이 논문에서 새롭게 밝혀낸 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 해방 직후인 1945~1946년에 출간된 공동 시집에서는 공통적으로 새나라 건설의 열망이 집중적으로 드러났는데, 이는 대체로 해방 이전과 이후를 속박과 해방, 낡음과 새로움 등의 시적 표상의 대립을 통해 표출했다. 더 나아가 이분법적 대립을 넘어서 변증법적 극복을 통해 새 시대로 나아가고자 하는 시들도 눈에 띄었다.
둘째, 해방기 시의 건설 담론은 마음 은유를 통해 표현되는 경우가 많았다. 해방기 공동시집에서 마음 은유는 무게와 깊이를 지닌 공간화되고 신체화된 마음으로 구체화된다. 또한 어린이, 청년, 어머니라는 주체와 마음이 결합한 경우도 자주 눈에 띄는데 이를 통해 미래 역사의 주역으로서의 정당성과 겨레의 마음으로 확산될 수 있는 가능성을 획득하고자 했다.
셋째, 해방기 시에서는 감정어가 높은 빈도로 쓰였는데, 특히 흘러넘치고 분출하고 쏟아지는 범람의 상상력과 나부끼는 깃발의 이미지를 통해 탈경계의 상상력이 폭발적으로 쓰였음을 확인할 수 있었다.
이러한 표현상의 특징들은 해방기 시에 출간된 네 권의 공동 시집에서 공통적으로 발견되었다. 특히 해방기 시의 대표적인 주제라고도 할 수 있는 새 나라 건설의 담론이 마음 은유와 감정어의 사용, 탈경계의 상상력과 결합됨으로써 해방기 시 특유의 파토스의 분출에 이를 수 있었던 것으로 보인다. 정제된 언어와는 거리가 먼 거친 언어의 사용, 격정적 분위기, 거리의 시 등으로 요약될 수 있는 해방기 시의 특징은 이 논문에서 살펴본 표현상의 특징과 긴밀히 관련된 것으로서, 해방기는 한국 현대 시사에서 가장 뜨겁게 시적 에너지가 분출되었던 시기라는 독보적인 자리를 차지하게 된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study set out to examine the construction discourse dominantly formed during the Liberation period and its rhetoric contexts with a focus on four collected poems of collaboration published during the period, Collection of Poems in Commemoration of Liberation, Torches, the Collection of Poems in Commemoration of Liberation, Collection of Poems in Commemoration of March 1, and Collection of Works of Avant－Garde Poets. The study especially paid attention to the fact that the discourse of new nation building, which was intensively revealed during the Liberation period, developed in its relations with the poetic words of mind and emotion lines.
The study led to the new conclusions as follows: first, there was an intensive description of desire for new nation building among the collected poems of collaboration published in 1945~1946 right after Liberation. It was expressed through a confrontation between different poetic representations before and after Liberation such as restriction and liberation and old and new. Furthermore, beyond the dichotomous opposition poems to moving into a new era through a dialectical overcoming also stood out.
Secondly, the construction discourse in the poems during the Liberation period was expressed through the metaphor of mind in many cases. In the collected poems of collaboration of the Liberation Period, metaphor of mind is materialized as the mind that it was spatialized and embodied with the weight and depth. Also, it stands out cases that combined the subject as children, youth, and mother with the mind. Through this, they wanted to acquire the legitimacy as the protagonists of the future history and the possibility which can be spread to the minds of compatriots.
Finally, emotion words were used in high frequency in the poems during the Liberation period with the explosive usage of trans－boundary imagination through the overflowing imagination that ran off, erupted, and poured down and the images of fluttering flags.
Those expressive characteristics were found in all of the four collected poems of collaboration published during the Liberation period. As the discourse of new nation building, which was the representative topic of poems during the period, was combined with the metaphor of mind, emotion words, and overflowing imagination, it amounted to the eruption of pathos unique to the poetry of Liberation period. Summarized in the usage of rough language distant from refined language, passionate atmosphere, and poems of the streets, the characteristics of poems during the Liberation period were closely related to the expressive characteristics examined in the present study. The poems of Liberation period got to hold a suggestive place in the history of contemporary Korean poetry as the period when the poetic energy erupted in the hottest fashion.
