석릉(石菱) 금창희(金昌熙)의 고문작법(古文作法)과 산문비평(散文批評)에 대한 일고(一考) = A study about formalities of ancient writings and Prose criticism of Kim Chang Hee

This essay analyzed various aspects of formalities of ancient writings and criticism of Sukrung Kim Chang Hee. and contemplated the meanings it has, to unveil the how to write ancient writings which writers sought for. He left writings related literature theory such as 『會欣穎(HaeHenYong)』 which is showing his points of view and criticism about 27 ancient writers`s works from 唐宋(Dang and Song) period to 明淸(Myung and Chung) period, 『四品集選(SaPumJipSun)』 which is gathering China literary men`s writing by giving grade, 『八大家文초(PalDaeGaMunCho)』 which is collecting writing of 唐宋八大家(DangSongPalDaeGa) and so on. He established his own literature theory while pursued ancient writings of Dang and Song period (唐宋古文). Kim Chang Hee presented his own critic point by generalizing literature theory of the whole generation, and he emphasized 法外之法(BubWeaJiBub) while succeeding 韓歐正脈(HanGuJungMac) and he also adored Hanyu who realized the subject of 無法則有法(MuBubJukYuBub) best. He valued 法外之法(BubWaeJiBub) and also emphasized writing method that is the basic principle of sentence. Among them, he took serious view to the 辭達(Sadal) and he realized that 辭達(Sadal) is not the simple meaning of ``conveying about the subject through the phrase`` but ``Sentence is conveyed to the posterity`` and he asserted that when the sentence could have the eternity, it should have 文彩(beautiful sheen). For achieving this, he asserted to have 文彩(beautiful sheen) by removing 陳腐語(Jinbuyu) same as Hanyu asserted. He agreed on the phase that ``師己意不師其辭(SaKiYuBulSaKiSa)`` however he thought that the only sentences coming from himself(辭必己出(SaPilKiChul)), could achieve the eternity by acquiring the originality. He also thought that achieving insight(隻眼) and discernment should be preceding before creating sentence. Insight(隻眼) and discernment can be achieved through improving relation between things and ego so it means appreciative eye that penetrates the essence of things. Kim Chang Hee strictly cut off creating sentence in the situation when these sense are not achieved. He also thought that writers who achieve the prominent results including Hanyu could reach the situation with the highly appreciative eye so asserted that in creating sentence, achieving insight and discernment that is acquired through reading and self-practice is most important. Kim Chang Hee tries to criticize each writers through 論文之文(NonMunJiMun) and the standard of the criticism is the basic principle of creating sentence that Kim Chang Hee emphasized before. These criticism shows the meaning that he found subject of criticism in the real writer`s creating and it also shows the realistic criticism aspect against simple appreciative criticism.
