노인 대상 역량 기반 교육과정 개발 연구 = Development of a Competency-Based Curriculum for Older Adults

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 노인 대상 역량 기반 교육과정 개발 모델을 제시하고, 제시된 모델에 따라 개발된 교육과정 실제 사례를제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 문헌분석을 통해 역량 기반 교육과정 개발 모형안을설계하고, 1, 2차 델파이 조사를 통해 역량 기반 교육과정의 내용을 구성할 핵심역량의 정의, 하위역량, 행동지표등 각 항목의 타당도를 검증하였다. 이후, 델파이 조사 결과를 바탕으로 노인 대상 역량 기반 교육과정 체계와 이에맞는 사례를 도출하였다. 연구결과, 노인의 핵심역량을 건강관리역량, 문화예술역량, 자기계발역량, 재무관리역량, 디지털활용역량, 협업역량 등 6개로 설정하고, 12개의 하위역량과 행동지표로 구분했다. 이를 바탕으로 ‘미래사회를위한 노인의 역량 향상 과정(가칭)’ 교육과정이 개발되었으며, 핵심역량 체계에 따라 신체적(건강관리역량), 정서적(문화예술역량, 자기계발역량), 경제적(재무관리역량), 사회적 영역(디지털활용역량, 협업역량)의 4개 파트별 교육체계도가제시되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 초고령사회를 살아가는 노인들을 위한 평생교육 연구와 현장 실무 분야에 학문적, 실천적 시사점을 제시할 것으로 기대된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study proposes a development model for a competency-based curriculum for older adults and provide practical examples of curricula developed based on the proposed model. To achieve this objective, a competency-based curriculum development model was designed through a literature review, and the validity of key elements—such as the definitions of core competencies, sub-competencies, and behavioral indicators for older adults—was verified through the first and second rounds of Delphi surveys. Based on the Delphi survey results, a competency-based curriculum case for older adults was derived.
The research identified six core competencies for older adults: health management, cultural and artistic engagement, self-development, financial management, digital literacy, and collaboration. These competencies were further structured into 12 sub-competencies and behavioral indicators. Consequently, a curriculum titled “Competency Enhancement Program for the Elderly in the Future Society (tentative)” was developed, featuring a four-part educational framework aligned with the core competency system: physical (health management), emotional (cultural and artistic engagement, self-development), economic (financial management), and social domains (digital literacy, collaboration). The results of this study are expected to provide academic and practical implications for lifelong education research and practice for older adults living in a super-aged society.
