農漁村地域社會經濟의 開發方向 = THE RURAL ECONOMY AND ITS DEVELOPMENT

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The rapid growth of our economy has been shown expending tendencies for the development gap between urban and rural societies in economic and the other aspects.
In spite of rural area lagging behind urban, the economy of rural community has been grown and changed in its structure. That is;
Farm output and fishery products has been increased and gradually mechanized, but, in pace of their growth, non-agriculture and non-fishery in rural area has been faster than agriculture and fishery.
Farmer and fishermen have to outlay more cash for their management by mechanizing farms, fishing and utilizing more fertilizers. This may be a cause of increasing cash flow from rural to cities.
The purchasing of rural households has been increased and its pattern changed for relative rise in importance of manufactured goods and services in living cost.
The employment pattern has been changed. The number of that of increasing non-farmer and non-fishermen trends to grow while that of farmers and fishermen decrease.
It is that non-farmers and non-fishermen can be to find have little choice but to seek employment in rural area, as there is no capacity to keep them in over-populated cities.
Most of the educated people have concentrated in the bigger cities, therefore, it is inevitable that the ignorant is remaining in the rural area and the lack of competent ability for rural development is severe.
In order to keep the balanced development between regions to use efficiently rural resources and to resolve these problems, the rural area should be transfer into, industrialized society. And the project for achieving this task must be planned under the consideration of balanced and sound development.
I can suggest the project for the industrialization of the rural community as follows;
