Rev. Son Yang-Won has been respected as the most similar pastor to Jesus Christ character in Korea Church and World Church history. So common people cannot help looking at him with respect and sense of distance. But everyone is a weak and wicked sinner, so cannot control the lusts of the flesh without going with Lord’s Spirit. Didn’t Son Yang-Won have an inner anguish? Didn’t he have a spiritual life that made him overcome the anguish by the power of Holy Spirit out of the faith of the cross? This is the motive of the research. Especially it has an important meaning to pastors to investigate the inner world and spiritual life of this great man of God. For pastors walk the way of holy mission and Jesus Christ’s Cross with weak and wicked nature. There are two distinct features in Rev. Son Yang-Won’s inner worldand spiritual life. They are sensitiveness to sins and total devotion to prayer. Owing to the faith of the cross, he can’t be sensitive to sins and cling to prayer believing God’s grace and love. Before he worried about great causes and cried for strong messages, he was mostly tormented by his sinful nature, so prayed for it, devoted himself to prayer. Maybe it can be said that Rev. Son Yang-Won threw his life away not for martyrdom, but for the prayer for the lusts of the flesh and the intimate relationship with God. These two features in Rev. Son Yang-Won’s inner world and spiritual life were brought to light in Rev. Kim Young Chul, “the Father of Reformed Life Theology.” Rev. Kim Young Chul was also sensitive to sins severely and put every ounce of his energy to prayer because of the faith of the cross. <Jar of clay>, Rev. Son Yang-Won could lead his whole life as great <Hero> by sensitiveness to sins and total devotion to prayer.
