미용 산업 종사자의 직무특성과 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 요인 = Factors affecting job characteristics and job satisfaction of workers in the beauty industry

Since the beauty industry is a purely based on human service and the industry that is labor-intensive and selling intangible services, the key point of the service interface is human resources who interact with customers to provide satisfactory service. Despite their professional jobs, however, the beauty industry workers often fail to fulfill their individual capabilities due to poor working conditions and inadequate treat from the works.
Currently, the number of human resources generated by beauty work-related educational institutions in Korea is on the rise, but the lack of human resources in the beauty industry continues to have a strong influence on the job satisfaction level and on the job satisfaction characteristics of the overall beauty care industry.
In this study, the working characteristics of service provider tasks and self-esteem in the overall beauty care industry are analyzed and identified, and the impact of these characteristics on future performance of beauty care providers on job satisfaction is identified by a detailed study.
The study participants distributed questionnaires to the people in the beauty care industry and used the self-administered questionnaire to utilize 251 collected materials. The questionnaires are consisted of 6 general characteristics, 12 job attributes, 4 job choices and holding characteristics, and 18 job satisfaction levels, and the result of the reliability on the job, Cronbach -, is highly rated as .937. The survey is complied by SPSS ver 21.0 and has 95% of trusted job satisfaction assessment.
The results of this study are as follows. In demographic characteristics, the factors influencing the monthly income are age, academic background, duration of work, and status of majors and the working places are affected by gender, age, monthly average income, and majors. The factors that affects on majors, academic education and age to start in the beauty industry are gender, average monthly income, academic background, marital status, and the major amount of certificate held in the beauty industry is in hair salon industry as hair dressers and 1 million won is considered as an appropriate monthly income to start with.
Factors influencing job satisfaction are age, working period, position, work type, monthly average income, major degree of specialty quality, and job choice. As a result of this study, it is important to have a professional and organized department to provide better laws and systems, so it would have great and better affection on the individual life in the industry and it would be effective on the national competition in the world.
