대학교육수요자의 유입과 지역별 분포에 따른 결정요인 분석 = (An) analysis of decision factor in accordance with the regional distribution & the influx of university education consumer

When we analyze with accessibility by the time distance and the cost distance on the influx of the education customers, Joongbu University is located in the south of Daejeon Metropolitan City, and according to the point of view of accessibility, the city have the good regional conditions which can represent evenly all over the country.
Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analyze the spatial characteristics on the influx of the education customers from the regions that is located in the residence of family as the base of living, and high school by testing.
The methods of the testing are to analyze by collecting and processing the spatial data targeting the enrolled students for seven years from 2005 to 2011 who entered into the Joongbu university form about 2,200 high school distributing one Seoul Metropolitan City, six Metropolitan Cities and 9 Provinces nationally. The regions of the survey are regions of nationwide civic unit.
For seven years from 2005 to 2011, the results of analyzing the regional distribution on the education customers who entered into the Joongbu university which is located in Geumsan-Gun, Chungnam targeting 2,200 high school are as follows:
Firstly, the distribution of capital region including the Seoul Metropolitan City, Incheon Metropolitan City and some parts of the Gyeonggy-do reached 50.9%. These percentages were turned out to have been caused by the absolute numbers and accessibility.
Secondly, compared with the nearby Daejeon Metropolitan City and Chungcheong-do, the reasons that the capital region has the higher distribution is that the increase of time distance and cost distance is accepted, but regions having a good accessibility is chosen as educational environment.
Thirdly, the changes of regional distribution for seven years is 1.2% ∼7.1% in the field of difference of region. These percentages are very low as 5.05% point on average, and mean that the distribution of the education customers is not equal and is concentrated in the region limited.
Fourthly, The accessibility on the basis of time distance(2 hours, one way) and cost distance(14,000 Won, one way) as the answer to the survey is that the Joongbu university is the limit point for the move of the education customers from the capital region having a lot of number of education absolutely.
Therefore, development direction of Joongbu University will be presented as follows;
First, the number of the customers of education from capital area reach more than 50%, and the change of that number is very small each year. This effect may be higher than expected if the number of the customers of education is reduced. Therefore, creating the second campus in the area with better accessibility is a necessary and sufficient condition.
Second, the number of the customers of education reaches 35% in Daejeon Metropolitan City and the area of Chungcheong Province. These areas have better accessibility and more number than other areas. If the second campus is created, the main campus would be necessary to characterize a few departments for getting a job and the university is required to concentrate on the extensive support in several parts.
Third, the university needs to reinforce the welfare of student closely such as securing a common living space of the students, supporting a recreational activities, providing the information and textbooks, and intensive courses etc. to enable the customers of education to execute educational activities smoothly.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

교육수요자의 유입을 시간거리와 비용거리에 따른 접근성으로 분석하면, 중부대학교는 대전광역시의 남쪽 경계에 위치하여 접근성의 관점에서 그 영향이 전국에 걸쳐 고르게 나타날 수 있는 양호한 지역적인 조건을 갖추고 있다고 판단하여 생활의 근거지인 가족거주지와 출신 고등학교가 위치하는 지역으로부터 교육수요자의 유입에 관한 공간적 특성을 밝히는데 그 목적을 두고 있다.
연구방법은 2005년부터 2011년까지 7년간 전국 1개 특별시, 6개 광역시와 9개 도에 분포하는 2,200 여개의 고등학교에서 중부대학교에 입학한 해당년도 재학생을 대상으로 공간적 자료를 수집, 처리, 분석하였다. 연구지역은 전국의 모든 행정 단위지역이다.
2005년부터 2011년까지 7년간 전국 2200여개의 고등학교를 대상으로 충청남도 금산군에 위치하는 중부대학교에 입학한 교육수요자의 지역별 분포를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 서울특별시와 인천광역시 그리고, 경기도의 일부 지역을 포함하는 수도권역의 분포율이 50.9%에 이르는 것은 교육수요자의 절대적인 수와 2차적으로는 접근성이 관계된 것으로 판단된다.
둘째, 인접한 대전, 충청지역에 비해 수도권의 분포율이 높은 것은 교육수요자 간 경쟁이 심할 경우 불리한 조건으로 작용하는 시간거리와 비용거리의 증가를 수용하나, 접근성이 양호한 지역으로 교육환경을 선택하는 경향으로 판단된다.
셋째, 7년간 지역별 분포율의 변화는 권역별 차이에서 1.2% ∼ 7.1% point, 평균이 5.05% point 로 매우 작은 편이다. 이것은 교육수요자의 분포가 균등하지 아니하고, 제한된 지역에 집중됨을 의미한다.
넷째, 설문에 응답한 시간거리(편도 2시간)와 비용거리(편도 1만 4천원)를 중심으로 분석한 접근성은 중부대학교가 절대적으로 수가 많은 수도권 교육수요자의 이동 한계지점으로 판단된다.
따라서 지역대학의 하나인 본교의 발전방향을 제시하면 첫째, 수도권으로부터 이동해 온 교육수요자의 수가 전체의 50%를 상회하고 매년 그 수의 변화는 매우 작다. 이것은 전국 또는 수도권의 교육수요자의 수가 감소할 경우 그 영향은 예상보다 클 수가 있다. 따라서 보다 접근성이 좋은 지역으로의 제2 캠퍼스 조성은 필요하고도 충분한 조건이 된다.
둘째, 대전, 충청권의 교육수요자는 전체의 35% 에 달한다. 다른 지역에 비해 접근성이 양호하며, 그 수 또한 적지 않다. 제2캠퍼스가 조성될 경우 본 캠퍼스에는 취업을 위한 소수 학과를 특성화할 필요가 있고, 여러 부분에서 폭 넓은 지원이 가능하도록 대학 차원의 집중력이 요구된다.
셋째, 교육수요자가 교육활동을 원활하게 할 수 있도록 학생 공동 거주공간의 확보, 여가활동의 지원, 그리고 정보와 교재 제공, 집중강의 등을 통한 취업준비 지원과 본교 캠퍼스 통학지원 등 밀착형 학생 복지를 강화할 필요가 있다.
