KidSmart 프로젝트Ⅱ에 대한 참여교사의 평가

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 2002년도 KidSmart 프로젝트에 참여했던 교사들이 이 프로젝트의 교사연수 및 현장적용의 효과에 대해 어떻게 평가하고 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상 교사는 한국 국ㆍ공립 유치원 연합회와 교육부의 협조로 선정된 전국의 도서 벽지 소재 국ㆍ공립 유치원 교사 197명 이었다. 이들에게 2001년도와 동일한 질문지를 배부하여 회수된 196부를 자료처리 하였다. 또한 2002년도 9월 1일부터 2003년도 8월 31일 까지 KidSmart 온라인 교사교육 사이트에서 상호작용한 내용을 범주화하여 분석하였다.
연구결과 첫째, 교사들은 KidSmart 프로젝트 연수에서 소개된 10개의 CD-Rom Title을 거의 사용해 본 경험이 없었으나 연수 후 교사들의 소프트웨어 사용 의지는 향상되었으며 전반적인 연수 운영 체제에 대한 평가는 긍정적으로 나타났다. 둘째, KidSmart 프로젝트의 현장 적용은 교사, 유아, 지역사회 측면에서 효과적이라고 평가되었으며, 지원체제에 대해서 대체로 만족했다. 교사지원센터는 중요성을 인식하나 실제로 활용하지 못한 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to find out the evaluations of the teachers, who participated in the second year of the KidSmart Project, on the effect of the teachers-training program and the practical implications. The subjects of this study were 197 teachers who teach at national /public kindergartens located in remote rural area. The kindergartens were chosen with the aid of the Korea Association of Public Kindergarten Teachers and the Ministry of Education. The same questionnaire with the first year research was distributed to the teachersme and 196 were returned. Also, from November 1, 2002 until August 31, 2003, the interactive contents on the KidSmart online website for teacher education were categorized and analyzed.
The results of the study are as follows: First, the 10 CD-Rom Title introduced at training session were unfamiliar to the teachers. After the teachers training, the teachers' willingness to use the 10 title and the usage of the title showed up quite high. Overall, the evaluations on the system of teacher-training turned out quite positive . Second, in terms of the practical implications of KidSmart Project, the teachers, children's, and the community's recognition were improved. The evaluation of supporting system was positive but the evaluation on the usage of the supporting system was not high.
