루쉰과 한용운의 구시(舊詩)에 나타난 시어 이미지와 현대의식 연구 = A Study on the Image of Poetic Language and Modern Consciousness in Lu Xun and Han Yong-un’s old style poems

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article analyzed the images of poetic language and their modern consciousness in their old style poems, focusing on Lu Xun of China and Han Yong-un of Korea. This article was designed to examine the images and characteristics of the poetic language of the creation of old style poems, based on how Lu Xun and Han Yong-un were modern intellectuals in East Asia.
Lu Xun created 77 old style poems, and Han Yong-un produced about 140 poems. Lu Xun expressed his inner world and the monologue world through animal and plant language images. He expressed the enlightenment spirit of an intellectual who wanted to be a cow of a young child, and compared people who mocked him to a herd of mosquitoes or to a lone nightingale. It is also a plant-based image of a poet living through hardships in a chaotic world through the poetic language of lotus, reed flowers, fragrant grass, mugwort, willow, water chestnut and cattail.
In comparison, Han Yong-un expressed his freedom, life, and independence through many animal and plant language images. In particular, his poems show a strong Budd hist poetry tendency toward Buddhist monks, and images of lotus flowers frequently appear. In addition, It expressed chrysanthemum, plum blossom, pine tree, and bamboo, which symbolize individual character and pursuit of ideals.
In conclusion, the old style poems of Lu Xun and Han Yong-un showed that intellectuals’ sense of mission to modern society in East Asia and individuals’ reflection on the inner world are well revealed. Through the self-internal and confessional reflections of the two writers who became poets, the sorrow and anguish of modern intellectuals, enlightenment and saving the country, and the world of life and death are well illustrated.
