한국가톨릭문화콘텐츠 가치체계의 수립 방안 연구

The aim of this study is to propose a future task of contents of development and research based on Catholic spirituality inherent to Korea by suggesting a standard value system necessary for the conceptualization of Korean Catholic cultural contents and aspects. To achieve this goal, this study firstly compares the changing environment of digital humanities research abroad and searches the necessary condition of an infrastructure for the continuity and self-reliance of a cultural industry. In addition to this, it concludes that the major reasons for the phenomenon that religion-themed cultural industry ends up being a single shot are due to the inundation of the subjects intertwined with religion, the government and universities, the short outlook centered on marketability and the lack of clear religious philosophy; having these reality settled, the study found the crucial need for establishing a value system of religion cultural contents and scrutinized the standard for this.
To do so, it investigated the status quo of the religious cultural industry centered on religionism, popularity and publicness that have been commonly suggested as the prerequisites for developing religious cultural contents by exploiting and analyzing the precedent research of cultural contents in the Korean religious sector. For the precedent cases, this has chosen the Temple Stay of Korean Buddhism, Holy Land Experience of American Christianity and Myungrye Holy Land of Korean Catholic. Then it compared and analyzed how the religionism, popularity, publicness were performed in actual contents service and brought sensation. In addition, this paper analyzed the benchmarking factors by categorizing the types of precedent cases based on the religionism, popularity, and publicness and proposed the implication for value system of Korean Catholic cultural contents.
The reason this study has its research subject not limited to Catholic but expands its cases to the digital humanities abroad and the cases of neighboring religions is because the religious cultural industry commencing the Korean Catholic cultural contents basically needs to concord with the era in which it is involved in and the call from the society; thus to efficiently grasp the future prospective, Korean Catholic cultural contents should take an action by scrutinizing the status quo of neighboring and oversea religions equipped with the same condition of the epoch.
