시각디자인에서 '입체적 선'의 정의와 표현방법 연구 = A study on the concept of '3 Dimensional line' in the graphic design field

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대 디자인은 고속화로 발전되어가는 과학과 기술의 발달에 힘입어 재료나 표현의 제한이 점차 사라지고 있다 기존 디자인의 영역이나 방법들은 컴퓨터 기술을 발판으로 더욱 다양해지고 디자 인에 대한 미적수준은 점차 높아지고 있으며 시각적으로 참신한 자극을 표현한 디자인에 초점이 맞춰지고 있다 이와 같이 다양해진 표현방법이나 무궁무진한 아이디어들이 현실적으로 가능하게 되면서 장르와 영역의 구분은 모호해지고 시각적인 자극을 쫓아 평연에서부터 입체로, 시각에서 촉각으로 까지 그 영역을 넓혀가고 있다 또한 평면과 입체라는 각 기본개념의 장점만을 골라 조 화롭게 접목한 표현양상이 기폰의 한 가지 요소만을 다룬 디자인보다 심미적으로나 기능적으로 그 가능성이 높이 드러나고 있다 입체적 선을 이용한 디자인은 원근법을 통한 가상공간이 만드는 일루견이 아닌 실제의 공간을 선이라는 요소를 이용하여 기본개념인 평면과 입체의 경계를 넘어 또 하나의 개념으로 표현이 가능하며 입체적 선’의 시각화는 무분별한 색감이나 자극에 노출되어 이미 적당한 수위의 자극에는 둔화된 시 감각에 하나의 참신한 자극으로 다가갈 수 있다. 디자인은 심미적 자극에서부터 기능적이고 인터액션이 가능한 디자인으로 표현이 되었을 때 좀 더 대중에게 효과적으로 다가갈 수 있다. 따라서 현 디자인에서 입체적 선은 간단한 종이에서부터 실, 철사 끈퉁 재료의 제한이 없고, 그 범위 또한 그래픽 디자인과 접목하여 인테리어나 동화책 광고 카드 둥 대중의 시각디자인 영역에 다양하게 활용되고 있다

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently, there has gradually been limitless in it's matehal and expression thanks to the highly developed science and technology. The existing areas or ways of designing are getting more various with the help of computers, and one's aesthetic sense is getting higher, accordingly the designs expressing visually new and striking stimulus are focused on. So, it has became possible to have the varied manners of expression and endless ideas. Meanwhile, the genres or areas of designing are getting arnbtgaous and expanding to include things that are not only plane and visual but also three-dimensional and tangible in pursuit of novel design. Also, the integrated aspects of expression made of the good points from the basic concepts that is, both the 2 Dimensional and the 3 Dimensional, seem to have more possibilities in terms of aesthetics and function than those dealing with either area at a time. Designing through 'the 3 Dimensional line' is another concept which, beyond the basic concepts-the plane and the solidity, represents the real space with a line, not the illusion by the perspective, Visualizing 'the 3 Dimensional line' can be the new stimulus to the sense of sight that has been exposed to the reckless rush of colors or stimuli and become dull. In addition, it can be more effective to the people when it advances from visual expression to functional and interactional one. So, it has became possible to have the varied manners of expression and endless ideas. Meanwhile, the genres or areas of designing are getting ambiguous and expanding to include things that are not only plane and visual but also three-dimensional and tangible in pursuit of novel design. Iso, the integrated aspects of expression made of the good points from the basic concepts that is, both the 2 Dimensional and the 3 Dunensional, seem to have more possibilities in terms of aesthetics and function than those dealing with either area at a time. Designing through 'the 3 Dimensional line' is another concept which, beyond the basic concepts-the plane and the solidity, represents the real space with a line, not the illusion by the perspective, Visualizing 'the 3 Dimensional line' can be the new stimulus to the sense of sight that has been exposed to the reckless rush of colors or stimuli and become dull. In addition, it can be more effective to the people when it advances from visual expression to functional and interactional one. Therefore in the present, the designing through the solid line has no limit in its materials such as sheets of paper, threads and wires, and by being integrated with the graphic design, the range of its application to the real life gets various, like the interior, fairy tale books, the ads, cards and so on.
