1930년대 대중가요에 나타난 여성과 당대의 시선 = Aspects of women and the contemporary viewpoints on them, reflected in the 1930s' popular songs

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문의 목적은 1930년대 대중가요 노랫말에 나타난 여성의 존재 양상을 확인하고, 그에 대한 당대의 시선을 고찰해 보는 것이다. 노랫말 속에 나타난 여성은 직접 발화자가 되기도 하고 대상화되기도 한다. 이러한 가운데, 제목 자체를 특정 여성을 지칭하는 용어를 사용하여 여성에 대한 관심을 표면화하는 양상이 두드러진다.
한편 노랫말에 드러난 당대의 시선을 여성의 몸, 사랑, 소비로 범주화하고 각각의 양상을 살폈다. 이 세 가지 범주는 당대 새롭게 구성되기 시작한 여성 담론의 주된 영역이면서 대중가요 노랫말을 통해서도 많이 노출된 요소이기도 하다.
대중가요 노랫말에 나타난 여성의 몸에 대한 관심은 이 시기 여성의 몸을 물질화 상품화하는 변화된 당대의 시선을 재현하고 있다. 여성의 사랑에 대한 시선은 주변인의 사랑이 겪는 서러움에 치우쳐 있다. 이러한 치우침은 자유연애라는 사랑의 이상이 결혼이라는 제도를 향해 있음을 확인하는 기제로 작동된다. 그리고 대중가요에서는 여성의 소비가 탐욕과 허영으로 연결되어 있다. 그래서 그것은 풍자의 대상이 된다. 여성의 외모 관리가 여성을 평가하는 새로운 요소가 되었지만 이와 연결된 여성의 소비는 억제해야 할 것으로 규정된다.
본고의 논의는 당대의 여성 담론이 시가 양식을 통해 어떻게 나타나고 또 어떻게 새롭게 구성되는지를 보여주는 전체적인 점검에 일정 부분의 기여를 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this report is to confirm the existing aspects of women reflected in the words of the early twentieth century's popular songs and give careful consideration of the evaluation to it. Women in the words of songs can be a direct persona or can be a object(target) by an objective persona. The attention to women is characterized by using the title to point out specific women.
But then, the report categorized the contemporary looks as body, love, expenditure of women and looked it through individually. These three category are the main territory of women discourse started to compose newly and much exposed through the popular song's words.
First of all, The songs words about women body take up much portion. The concern about women's body in the popular song's words is focused on and has a main stream about outer appearance of traditional women image. But, these appearance description is not for express the traditional aesthetic sense. Tradition is like a chosun,(That tradition is originated from chosun), sometimes, It is reproduced as an object of commercialized sight-seeing. These reappearance is the present's eyes changed that the women's body at this time is materialized and commercialized. On the other hand, the criterion to evaluate the women's body is changing to that of the western. the object of new attention emerges from the style, costume and facial appearance.
The women love is the most universal theme of a popular songs. the early twentieth century is not exceptional. In the early twentieth the women love of popular songs has three characteristics. Those are pure-minded feeling of fluttering and wandering, affections of a long wait and sorrow, and love of death. These three aspects are appeared in the form of a new folk song and a popular ballad with different individual portions. But, the viewpoint about love is biased to the sorrow of love. this slant works for a triggering device to make sure that the ideal of love called a free love is inclined to the marriage system.
It seems that Consumption is much stuck to women in modern history. Many present women discourse is related to women expenditure. these symptom is catched in the popular songs' words. The women consumption is connected with greed and vanity. For that reason it would be an object of stinging satire. The women appearances care is a new element to evaluate women. but the women expenditure which is related that should be prescribed something constrained.
The discussion in the report is expected to contribute somewhat to general check how present women discourse is appeared through poetry style and how it is composed newly.
