“抬头社恐”与“低头社牛” - 当代中国青年群体社会交往实践的人际关系模式研究 - = A Study on Interpersonal Relations Model of Contemporary Chinese Youth’s Social Interaction Practice

With the gradual decline of organic connections between individuals, a range of issues related to social interaction are gradually emerging. With the advent of COVID-19, a public health emergency, the interpersonal relations mode of the public, especially the youth, has been seriously affected. The rapid spread of the epidemic and the control mechanism of the government have hindered the youth’s social interaction ability, which were even injured the social participation and social integration. The purpose of this study is to master the current situation of social interaction of Chinese youth in the post epidemic era, and to analyze the empathy ability, phubbing, and stress behavior that individuals have been reflecting under the background of public health emergency. Then to mine for the important factors that can influence their social interaction ability. Thus, we can explore an effective interpersonal relations model that can be applied to the current youth groups. In view of this, this study conducted a questionnaire survey among youth in Jiangsu Province through multi-stage stratified random sampling after theoretical analysis and expert argumentation, and ultimately collected 716 valid data. Also several analysis techniques, including internal reliability analysis, descriptive analysis, cluster analysis, discriminant analysis, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis were adopted by using SPSS 25.0 version.
The conclusions are drawn as the following. Firstly, by fitting the empathy, phubbing and stress behavior of youth, their social interaction patterns can be effectively divided into five categories, including “Realistic perception type” “Realistic projection type” “Self experience type” “Deep involvement type” and “Blind externalization type”. Secondly, different types of interpersonal interaction patterns can have significant influences on youth’s social interaction ability. Finally, after discussing, it was concluded that the “Realistic perception type” interpersonal relations model is most in line with the social interaction needs of youth in the post epidemic era, providing a reference for the idealized interpersonal relations model of the public under the influence of public health emergency.
