Due to the spread of COVID-19 in 2020, our society has undergone many changes. To prevent the spread of infectious diseases, the government implemented a high-intensity social distancing policy to limit the operation of facilities and industries where large numbers of people gather (Ministry of Health and Welfare, 2020).
Due to restrictions on the operation of these facilities and industries, there is not enough free time, so the physical activity of middle-aged office workers who used commuting time to visit multiple exercise facilities before or after work to manage their health is a multiple facility for exercise due to COVID-19. Even this became limited in accordance with social distancing policies such as bans. Due to the prolonged COVID-19 outbreak, health care is required for all age groups in daily life, but among them, the middle-aged group is a period in which adult diseases gradually increase with aging, so regular and steady health management is required, and the health status of middle-aged men and women The practice of health behavior in middle age has an important meaning because it affects not only the economic problems of the family but also the family members such as the children's education problems and the children's health status.
In this study, among various methods for preventing the deterioration of health in the middle-aged and for health promotion, the experience rate of using digital health care services that can provide non-face-to-face health management and the effect on health behavior practice were investigated and verified. I would like to give practical suggestions on the prevention of exacerbation.
The data collected in this study were statistically processed using SAS version 9.4. The general characteristics of all subjects were expressed as N(%) through frequency analysis. A chi-square test was conducted to find out whether there was a difference in the general characteristics and , according to gender and the low and high users of Internet health information service. The number of cells with an expected frequency less than 5 was 25 % or more, Fisher's exact test was performed. In addition, an independent t-test was conducted to compare satisfaction and lifestyle scores according to gender and the low and high users of the Internet health information service group. Differences in the characteristics of use of each digital health care service according to the study subjects were analyzed, and the relationship between the digital health service use experience rate and health behavior practice was analyzed. The analysis results are as follows.
As a result of the survey analysis, the results of the first analysis of the differences in the characteristics of use of each digital health care service according to the subjects of the study were 'exercise/physical information' and 'diet/nutrition' , and there were cases in which men were interested in mental health information. As health information of interest through smartphone health management application, ‘exercise/physical’ information was the highest for both men and women, and for women, 2.2% for mental health, and for men, self-diagnosis check showed a response rate of 10.4%. As the health information of interest to be obtained through wearable devices, ‘exercise/physical information’ was found to be the highest in males (50.0%) and females (57.9%).
The second analysis of the relationship between the experience rate of digital health care health information service use and the practice of health behavior showed that breakfast frequency, fiber intake, and stress coping were significant according to the experience of using Internet health information service, and the Internet health information user group Compared to the non-user group, the frequency of breakfast was higher in relation to weight control and dietary habits, the frequency of intake of fibrous food was significantly higher, and the activity to cope with stress was found to be more frequent. It was found that subjects who had experience using smartphone health management applications had significantly higher levels of high-intensity exercise, breakfast, and high-fiber food, and the frequency of stress coping activities were significantly higher than subjects without experience. Also, the frequency of leisure activities and the rate of regular checkups were significantly higher. The frequency of high-intensity exercise and moderate exercise, the frequency of breakfast and fibrous food intake, the frequency of stress coping activities, and positive and optimistic thinking were significantly higher than those of those who had experience using wearable devices.
In conclusion, the digital health care health information service use experience rate and health behavior practice The significance of the relationship could be verified.
