NCS 기반 체육학 전공 교육과정 요구도 조사 실증 연구 = An Empirical Study on NCS-based Physical Education Department Major Curriculum Requirements Survey

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop a customized curriculum model through a survey of NCS-based physical education major curriculum requirements in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution. In other words, the current status of learner job demands was identified among physical education students attending three universities in the metropolitan area regarding the five value characteristics of physical education, and based on the required results, a group of experts (practitioners) developed learning capabilities for each job. The purpose is to finally present a physical education curriculum model suitable for the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution by conducting a final comparative analysis of the results on what opinions can be expressed in terms of demand.
Method: The basic framework of the questionnaire was composed of job-related syllabus questions centered on NCS-based competency units. The questionnaire used in the study was divided into 65 questions for learners and 28 questions for experts, and the questionnaire for experts was divided into 5 factors (functional aspect, In order to proceed with the research process by dividing it into educational aspects, artistic aspects, industrial aspects, and engineering aspects, more than four needs survey methods such as surveys, self-evaluation, task analysis, and interviews (non-face-to-face) were adopted and conducted.
Results: First, most learners showed a high need for multifaceted teaching and learning and curriculum development in all five factors of the value characteristics of physical education (functional aspect, artistic aspect, educational aspect, industrial aspect, and engineering aspect). Second, most experts (practitioners) said that the existing theory- and practice-oriented curriculum may limit their activities as experts needed in the industrial field after graduation, and there was a high demand for the development of an NCS-based physical education major curriculum.
Conclusion: As a result, based on the need to open a new curriculum that can advance into the future society by utilizing the five value characteristics of physical education and the active urgency of the operating policy, the NCS-based physical education curriculum development model was developed as follows for technical, physical fitness, health care experts, and creative We developed and proposed an attractive curriculum model to help students become experts in cultural and artistic innovation, convergent personality and holistic education, passionate industrial management experts, and challenging research and development experts.
