低溫處理期間과 播種期가 마늘의 生育 및 收量에 미치는 影響 = Effect of Low Temperatute Treatment of Seed Bulb and Planting Date on Plant Growth and Yield in Galic

국문 초록 (Abstract)

마늘의 端境期인 3~4월에 收穫할 수 있는 作型開發의 技術體系를 確立할 목적으로 暖地系인 南海 地方種과 寒地系인 義成 地方種을 供試하여 播種期별로 低溫處理 開始期 및 低溫處理期間을 달리하여 生育 및 收量에 미치는 影響에 대하여 試驗을 실시하였던 바 그 結果는 다음과 같다.
播種期별 低溫處理에 의한 初期生長의 結果는 9월 14일과 9월 29일에서 현저하였고 中期以後 生長 結果는 10월 29일 播種까지 나타났다. 또한 生長을 促進시키는 低溫處理期間에 있어서 暖地系는 45일과 60일, 寒地系는 60일간 低溫處理였다.
展開葉數는 低溫處理期間이 길고 播種期가 늦어질수록 적어지는 傾向이 있었다.
收穫期에 있어서 暖地系는 7월 31일 부터 8월 30일까지의 低溫開始한 45일과 60일간 低溫處理가 빨랐고, 寒地系에 있어서는 7월 31일 부터 8월 30일까지에 低溫開始하여 60일과 90일간 低溫處理가 빨랐다.
球重이 큰 順位는 暖地系에서는 10월 14일 播種의 45일간 低溫處理가 가장 많았고, 다음은 9월 29일 播種의 45일간 低溫處理였다. 寒地系에서는 10월 14일 播種의 60일간 低溫處理가 가장 많았고, 다음은 10월 14일 播種의 45일간 低溫處理였다. 球重을 低溫處理日로 보면 暖地系는 8월 30일에 低溫處理하여 45일간 低溫處理가, 寒地系는 8월 15일에 低溫開始하여 60일간 低溫處理가 가장 많았다.
이상의 結果로 마늘의 早期栽培는 暖地系 마늘을 사용하여 8월 15일~8월 30일에 低溫開始하여 45일간 低溫處理로 9월 25일과 10월 14일에 播種하면 無處理에 비해 30일간 短縮되어 4월 12일에 收穫할 수 있고 收量도 많아 가장 效果的이라 思料된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In order to develop a cropping system that can produce garlic in the period of short supply from March to April, effects of low temperature treatment of seed bulbs and planting dates on starting date of low temperature treatment, dates of low temperature treatment, plant growth, maturity and yield were studied in southern strain, 'Namhae' and in northern strain 'Euiseong'. The results obtained were as follows;
Effect of low temperature treatment on early plant growth was observed in Sep. 14 and Sep. 29 plantings, but the effect on plant growth at intermediate stage or thereafter was observed in up to Oct. 29 plantings. Optimun days for low temperature treatment on growth enhancement was 45 and 60 days in southern strain and 60 days in northern strain in each planting dates.
In southern strain, the longer the low temperature treatment and the later the planting date, the less the number of leaves developed. In northern, normal leaves were not developed in plantings from Sep. 14 to Nov. 13.
Harvest date was earliest in 45 and 60 days low temperature treatment started from July 31 to Aug. 30 in southern strain, and it was in 60 and 90 days low temperature treatment initiated from July 31 to Aug. 30 in northern strain.
Bulb weight was heaviest in 45 days low temperature treatment of ()ct. 14 planting and next was in 45 days treatment of Sep. 29 planting in southern strain. In northern strain, bulb weight was heaviest in 60 days treatment of Oct. 14 planting and next was in 45 days treatment of Oct. 14 planting. When considered in the aspect of beginning date of low temperature treatment, bulb weight was heaviest in 45 days treatment started on Aug. 30 in southern strain and in 60 days treatment started on Aug. 15 in northern strain.
From the above results, it suggested that early crop of galic can be harvested by planting at the period of Sep. 29 to Oct. 14 after 45 days of low temperature treatment of seed bulbs of southern strain. Then harvest date can be shortened by 30 days compared to control and galic can be harvest in early April.
