A New Path for the Integrated Development of Community Sports and Health from the Perspective of Healthy China: Prevention and Treatment of Cognitive Decline

PURPOSE : Cognitive decline is more common in the elderly, which is often manifested as a decline in memory function, spatial cognitive function and logical thinking ability, which can lead to death. In recent years, China’s elderly population has shown a surge trend, and the results of the seventh national census show that the population aged 60 and above in China has reached 264018766, accounting for 18.70% of the total population. At the same time, with the development of social economy and the improvement of people’s living standards, sedentary, lack of exercise and other lifestyle habits lead to the gradual decline of the physical fitness of the elderly, the prevalence of cognitive decline is increasing. Based on the background of Healthy China, this paper analyzes the current situation and shortcomings in the pilot process of the community physical health integration model for the prevention and treatment of cognitive decline, and then proposes corresponding strategies to implement the construction of community physical health integration for the prevention and treatment of cognitive decline, so as to promote the development of Healthy China.<BR/>METHODS : Using the literature method and case analysis method, the literature search and reading were carried out on CNKI with the keywords of “Healthy China”, “Physical Health Integration” and “Cognitive Function Decline”. Combined with the specific national conditions of the development of physical and health integration in China, this paper deeply analyzes the development constraints of community physical health integration for the prevention and treatment of cognitive decline, and puts forward the optimization strategy for promoting the community physical health integration model for the prevention and treatment of cognitive decline.<BR/>RESULTS : According to the constraints faced in the construction of the current community health integration model for the prevention and treatment of cognitive decline, some suggestions are put forward for the practical path of the integration of health and physical health: (1) Talent training: Innovate the construction of talents for the integration of community physical and health and urge the efficient development of education. Improve professional knowledge education and cultivate compound talents for the integration of community sports and health; Set up a skills training base to carry out post-employment education for compound talents. Improve the professional certification system, and standardize the employment standards for community sports and health integration work. (2) Concept innovation: Actively promote the implementation of the concept of active health and break the traditional community development model. As the leading force in the integration of community physical and health, the government should integrate the concept of active health into various laws, regulations and policies to build a new path for the integration of community physical and health integration. As a key component of community sports and health integration, multiple subjects should break down industry barriers, strengthen departmental liaison, and jointly build a new path for community development. As the basic element of community health integration, residents should thoroughly implement the concept of active health, break the traditional medical model, and promote the development of community health integration. (3) Grassroots implementation: optimize government policy investment to ensure the construction of community services; Promote policy support to go deep into the community and improve the community health service platform; Promote the campaign referral programme to strengthen grassroots services.
