유치원의 조직문화와 원장의 변혁적 리더십이 교사의 행복감 및 교사효능감에 미치는 영향 = Impact of organizational culture and director's transformational leadership on happiness and teacher efficacy among kindergarten teachers

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of organizational culture and director's transformational leadership on the happiness and teacher efficacy of kindergarten teachers.
Four research questions were posed to serve the purpose:
1. What is the awareness of kindergarten teachers about their organizational culture, director's transformational leadership, their own happiness and teacher efficacy?
2. What is the relationship of the happiness and teacher efficacy of kindergarten teachers to their organizational culture and director's transformational leadership?
3. What is the relative influence of the organizational culture and director's transformational leadership on the happiness of kindergarten teachers?
4. What is the relative influence of the organizational culture and director's transformational leadership on teacher efficacy of kindergarten teachers?
The subjects in this study were 250 teachers who were selected by random sampling from kindergarten teachers located in Busan and South Gyeongsang Province. After a survey was conducted, the answer sheets from 196 respondents were analyzed among the collected ones.
The collected data were analyzed by the statistical package PASW WIN 18.0 and the following results were drawn.
First, organizational culture of kindergarten(M=3.46), director's transformational leadership(M=3.34), the happiness(M=3.67) and teacher efficacy(M=3.45) of kindergarten teachers scores were all above average(M=3).
Second, as a result of checking the correlation between organizational culture of kindergarten and the happiness of the kindergarten teachers, there was a positive correlation between the two. The correlation between director's transformational leadership of kindergarten and the happiness of the kindergarten teachers were shown to be positive. The correlation between organizational culture of kindergarten and teacher efficacy were shown to be positive. The correlation between director's transformational leadership of kindergarten and teacher efficacy were shown to be positive.
Third, According to the results of the multiple regression analysis, organizational culture and director's transformational leadership of kindergarten exerted an influence on the happiness of kindergarten teachers.
Fourth, According to the results of the multiple regression analysis, organizational culture of kindergarten and director's transformational leadership exerted an influence on teacher efficacy of kindergarten teachers, but director's transformational leadership was not.
Based on these results, it was found that the happiness and teacher efficacy of kindergarten teachers were affected by organizational culture and director's transformational leadership of kindergarten.
