The needs for this research
storybooks among the various genres of literature are common teaching methods in kindergartens which offer infants abundant living experiences and help them to get knowledges and informations. The progress of reading storybooks is very concrete and effective way of studying for infants to have imaginations and interpretations about all sorts of things.(Yi Cha-Suk, No Myoung-Hwan 1995).
Storybooks are most close to infants and help them to express their various thoughts and creative inclinations.
The questions of this research
This research will show you the infants' language abilities effects under the influence of teacher's storybooks delivery methods. Infants were divided into two groups and then two groups have different storybook delivery experiences.
By contrasting the differences of language abilities between two groups, I'll investigate the effects of storybook delivery experiences. For this purpose, the research questions are as follows ;
1. Is there any meaningful differences in infants' ability of language expression according to the storybook delivery experiences?
2. Is there any meaningful differences in infants' ability of language understanding according to the storybook delivery experiences?
The ways of this research
the subjects of this research
; The subjects of this research are 30 infants of the age 5 who were attending B kindergarten's 2 classes located in Y district, Jeon buk.. The two classes were divided into two groups (one class - experimental group, the other class - control group)and before this experiment, I made sure that two groups had the same quality by preliminary inspection.
The test tools of this research
The language expression test tool
Language expression test tools used in this research were produced by Jang
Young-Ae(1981) for the level of those age of 4 to 5 . This test is composed of three parts - vocabulary test, language understanding test, language expression test - but in this research, I only used the language expression test tool. It have three items point - agreement, connectivity, creativity of the contents, I evaluate the more language ability, the more the adding points of each items.
The language understanding test tool
In this research, I used the preliminary and post examination tools which is devided into two parts; one is for story structure, the other is prescriptive questions suggested by Pak Young-Ran(2000) to measure infants' ability of language understanding,
The analyzing data
The analyzing data was operated to know connection of infants' ability of language expression and language understanding and storybook delivery experiences. The result was changed to point and T inspection was carried out to definite the statistical differences of experimental group between control group. analyzing data was managed with SPSS/PCT program.

First, storybook delivery experiences enhance content agreement among the infants' abilities of language expression meaningfully. This result is like some previous results; Storybook delivery influences on infants' ability of language expression and vocabulary, The effect of teacher's question types while storybook activities on infants' ability of language expression and vocabulary.
Second, storybook delivery experiences enhance content connectivity This result is like some previous results; Storybook presentation activities enhance the ability of language understanding and language expression, The effect of storytelling what they've heard on infants' reorganizing story.
Third, storybook delivery experiences enhance the infant's content creativity among the infants' abilities of language expression meaningfully. this result is similar to the result of Yun Hye- Jin's previous research(1993) about the relativity between creating stories and infant's creativity.
Fourth, storybook delivery experiences enhance the infants' ability of language understanding. this result is not different from previous result; the effect of storybook delivery experiences on infants' storybook understanding.
As you can see the results of this research, storybook delivery experiences can enhance the infants' ability of language expression and language understanding and this results are not different from the results of the previous researches.
